International break fucked us up then, thats what im pinning the blame on for that one. Looked very lacklustre finishing, yet getting good passing and what not. At the back also looked very shakey.
Big Sam wasting his talents at palace is fun though, would have loved him as England manager...oh wait the retard press drove him out haha.
hm second time a team misses a penalty vs southampton this season because the turf fucks up the penalty shooter. At least this time I saw forster go up and talk to the player before the penalty. Almost feels like he was like, trying to stretch the grass with his foot making it more likely that pk shooter was gonna end up sliding.

Either big big coincidence of super cheeky!
You mean like this? Goalie was billed for repairs later by home team
yeah I actually think it's very possible that forster did that. Two out of two penalties at St Mary's I saw where the same thing happened, this season.
Imagine you are one of the world best players (a dribbler), you are in any starter XI. You earn good money, but playing there with most fun & spectacle & tension (highest priority) and a chance to win the triple yearly. Which league/team is the best for that? I don't think playing at PSG/Bayern/Juve is good. I think these 3 leagues are boring, they will win 7+ of the next 10 seasons anyway. Premier League is very attractive, but english teams are not strong in CL. In most seasons, La Liga is boring but Real/Barca are top CL Contender.

I think I would pick an english team.
La liga has not been boring this last 4 years. Atlético has got similar points to Barça/Madrid most of the seasons (Last season: barça 91 madrid 90 atleti 88). And this year, Sevilla was 1 point below Barça until last month when they slumped.
I know that the era of Guardiola was the worst of the history of la liga and Barça/Madrid used to got 100 points and 20 points more than the 3rd. But that was more than 4 years ago, things have changed.
In my opinion, right now, Premier League and La Liga are miles ahead than French, Italian and German leagues.

Ajax 2-1 Feyenoord. Feyenoord got outplayed so much they looked like an amateur team. Ajax should've won this 5 or 6 - 0. If only we didn't miss Dolberg and Traore was a decent player....
Kluivert and Ziyech were insane this game though. Kluivert is a potential world class winger for sure. The lad is only 17 and was the best or second best player on the pitch in a huge game like this.

Agreed. Traoré played well, but he should've scored 3 or 4 goals. Actually I've seen quite a few matches of his like this, where he plays well, looks dangerous, but he is incapable of finishing. Well, at least we won. Lets see what happens in the next few matches. Ajax still has to play away in Eindhoven, while Feyenoord has a pretty easy program... but 3 points is not insurmountable.

if i were the 2nd messi i would legitimately pick man utd. not just because im a fan but objectively speaking, they are arguably the most marketable club in the most watched league with a legacy that compares with real madrid. also if man utd had a player of messi's quality they would be competing for the treble most seasons just like barca is now. something about la liga and bundesliga just makes me think that i personally wouldnt want to play there if i had a chance at a top english club

It depends on whether you'd want secured league titles and deep CL runs years after years.
If i were the next Messi/Ronaldo, I'd prefer to start my career at Munich, grab a few titles under my belt while playing under much less pressure.
