I hate handballs, im done with them i can never tell what should be a pen or not even after seeing the replays. Yes that hit his hand clearly. did he mean too...no, did it stop a clear cross and attacking play, yes. So which one outweights the other? | ||

Thats like... in 0.4 seasons. And while I think the penalty against Bayern was entirely justified, I also think they should have gotten the penalty for the handball... He clearly increased his body area and stopped the cross... And the arm was not really at the body either... | ||

The Problem with handballs is not necessarly the call itself (there are 5(6) refs on the field) it is the rule. It is super random what is intentional and what not. Perfect example here, were Lewandowski cant possible intentionaly fouled him (coming from behind) is a penalty, a "unintentional" handball is not. Instant replay woudnt fix that however it would help the ref so he hasnt decide that in a split second. | ||

And the arm was not really at the body either... Only as a trial, rest will depend on if the Bundesliga manage to implement it properly, because the club world cup made a lot of people doubt it. On the penalty calls: First is one unless there was studs up/dangerous play by arsenal player, could not tell at all from live play handball was short distance, arm not that far out, meh I'm okay with both calls, but of course Bayern wont be happy with both going against them. | ||
