Sick fight, such precision and timing from Holloway, very impressive.

I think LW has too much unfinished business, Khabib vs Tony is the only fight to make, but it all depends on Khabib's suspension, if it'll be under a year then wait it out for Ferguson. I'd be fine with either Poirier or McGregor getting a title shot at 145lbs if they're willing to go down, but a champ moving up to fight in a non-champion fight doesn't make sense imo.

At FW I would do Moicano vs Edgar for a title eliminator.

If Khabib will be suspended for a long time, then Ferguson vs Poirier for the strap makes sense, and in that case, if Holloway wants to move up to fight either of those two for the best, then it's a good option. Anyway, looking forward to seeing how FW and LW develops, the two divisions are so intertwined.

I don't think Barboza can't really ask for someone higher than he is, he was on a 2 fights losing streak and they were bad losses. The only option would have been Dustin Poirier otherwise - even though I think Poirier deserves a shot at Conor and is one win away from a title shot.

Just give Anthony Pettis & Justin Gaethje to Barboza & Al Iaquinta, any of those two combinations would be really entertaining fights and would play into both Barboza and Iaquinta's strenghts while waiting for the top 4 to settle things and unlock new match-ups for the top contender spots.

Conor coming back threw a wrench in the evolution of the top spots of the division.

Really impressed by Iaquinta's corner too, they planned that fight so well (recognizing that Lee's southpaw stance never shoots takedowns without switching midway, faking during transitions and those early single legs that kept Lee honest). He still can't stop jabs at all but other than that, good performance.

Oh yeah I'd be okay with Conor vs Barboza too! But I don't think it will happen either, no reason for Conor to take it right now. This division has a lot of really fun match-ups. Iaquinta vs Gaethje would be a monstruous slugfest too.
