Askren, I'll reserve my judgement on as I know little about him. I do think that Robbie looked really shaky against RDA, and with a performance like that, I think a good wrestlers would win. Anthony Smith I'm pretty excited for. In theory JJ will keep him at range and just pick him apart, while Anthony Smith exhausts himself in 3 rounds with explosive forward movement, but idk. Anthony Smith can go pretty kamikazee, and I think it's possible he could clip Jon. Smith has good Jiu Jitsu too, so I don't think Jones will try to take the fight to the ground, at least not until Round 3 when energy is a lot lower. Anyway, I'm excited, keeping Smith at range at distance won't be easy for 5 rounds, if it happens, then it'll be underwhelming and seem expected, but I think it's going to be really tense and on a knifes edge, with one mistep allowing a possible KO. Smith is durable AF too, so imo unless Smith punches himself out, then it'll be a decision.

I've seen three of his four last matches, recently, and I'm not really that impressed. I don't think anything he'll do on his feet will do any harm to Lawler. Then, even if his ground game seemed dominant (can't really say more, I think two of those fights were first round KO), his takedowns are way too plotty in my opinion. From a long distance, down the line, same form, and with Lawler's takedown defense, I don't think this is gonna be enough. Lawler's defense is underrated mostly because he was horrible at it the first half of his career, and he kinda kept that reputation undeservingly. Lawler fought and won against Cerrone, MacDonald, Brown to some extent, Condit and especially kept Johnny Hendricks of all people at bay. And I doubt Askren is a better wrestler/takedown artist than Hendricks was. I agree with your Woodley analysis, that's why I had him on the losing end of his bouts with Thompson and Till, but like you said, he probably has one of the highest fight IQ in the sport, so now I'm not surprised with him winning nonetheless.

I think he's as complete of a fighter as you can get, really no weakness, and fights super smart. Cormier, Holloway and Khabib Rory Mac embarrassed woodley but that was a few years ago

So now that the Jon jones drug test is clean we just need people to not get injured or hospitalized from bad weight cuts and we should get a great card. What I meant was that in an analytical chemistry test, when you find *an amount* of something or less - it usually signifies that the test doesn't conclusively find anything at all.. In other words, the 'or less' means that there was nothing found to a certain limit - which would be the lower limit of what you can test for. I explained that really badly. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detection_limit
