![]() Good result I guess? 2-1 is usually not great, but Atletico is going to be uncomfortable having to win the game at home. I liked the reaction after the break, even if it was 11v10, not many teams are able to dominate Atletico like this. 7 games against Atletico for L. Enrique, 7 wins, not bad.

Yeah I didnt really even feel the need to discuss this. Pande Sharkie and Prowler will jump at even a whiff of anything to whine about. Not sure why you bite. Let them have their day. The card was harsh but whatever it was unfathomably stupid and if were playing the rule game its definitely a second yellow. Everyone could see a mile away he was trying to get himself sent off before that foul. Uefalona etc etc. Whether Torress was on or not the shape was still basically this.. https://embed.gyazo.com/e24d19218bded22ba50399b06b944a58.png Edit: I do have to comment on the retard logic though. That guy scored goals. He should be off. The guys who didnt score goals can stay. Lesson, Kick the shit out of your opponent just dont score goals.

and lets not be naive, big teams will always have some "help", even if its indirect one, theres a pressure that you just cant hold, these are people after all. United, Chelsea, RM, Barcelona, Bayern, Juventus, etc... will always be favoured against "lesser" teams (in this regard, Atletico IS a lesser team against Barcelona). it sucks ? yeah, but thats how it is, and unless robots start to referring games theres no way that pressure big teams generate its not going to be easily avoidable for humans

I'm not going to be objective on a game with Barcelona of course, but if Busquets 'deserved' a yellow and Suarez a red, at least 2 other players from Atletico 'deserved' a red too, and there were 2-3 penalty calls that could have been given to Barça and it wouldn't have been a scandal. But it's easier to talk about the big bad evil Barcelona. Atletico's style is to be aggressive, so getting cards is just part of the game for them. It always makes me laugh when Simeone does these incredible gestures after one of his players get a yellow/red, it's just an act, it's just part of the Atletico comedy club. Nobody says anything about them because they're still the underdogs compared to Barça/Real, but they play a super dirty football, they waste time whenever they can, they dive, they roll on the floor just as much as Barça/Real players; but since they're a "macho" team, nobody says anything. I admire their tactical discipline, I admire how they do counter-attacks beautifully with only 2-3 players, but in the end, they're just parking the bus. And when you park the bus, you can expect to get some tickets.

Could have made the 2:0 or 3:0 pretty easy at the beginning (or end, that pass from Lewa to Lahm...) In the end Benfica had some opportunities to score as well. All in all 1:0, seems right Barca vs Athletice.... where to begin? I would like a regame to be honest because that game was just... If the Ref sends Torres off for those 2 fouls he should have just kept his "line" throughout the game, but then there wouldn't have been enough player to end the game i guess ^^ I kinda hope for an undeserved penalty or sth like that for Atletico in the next game making it 2:1 and 1:2 and then a nailbiter overtime
