Difference with that challenge and Suarez' one is that he's not on the ball so no one is paying attention therefore ref can't see what was going on there. It might ve a red, we can see it from replays, refs can't ser it, move on. Uefa can give him some few match ban or something or that would be the case in England, overruling the decision of the ref.
Its pointless making arguments about refs favorism n shit, especially when its not true. It might be bad refereeing from viewers perspective but in the end Torres was begging for a 2nd yellow and Suarez is as cheeky as ever. No need to call it a disgrace to Barca as they played their game, didn't let Atletico leave their half and u could see where this was gona go at min 50 when Simeone took Carasco off.
I'm not even gona comment on Lahm 'handball'. Please try better to troll or don't post when bitter or try sliding with hands on your body and coming back with no broken ribs.
??????????????????????????????????
The 4th ref actually called the main ref and then he booked him
IF the 4th ref actually saw Suarez doing something, its an agression because he saw Suarez hiting Felipe Luis (without the ball by the way) and thats a red. Otherwise, if, like you said, nobody saw him, why would the 4th ref call the main one to book Suarez ? Or did he call him because he doesnt like Suarez so he should book him because he looked him funny ?
|
Because he possibly saw a foul but did not think it was violent conduct. More interesting than that, if Brych gave a yellow for it, can it still be video reviewed because of referee decision? Uefa don't really like messing with on the field calls I think, only stuff that was missed outright.
edit: Suarez card 70th minute, that kick was first half right?
|
Like i said, i dont think theres a deliberated help to big teams (althou there is an argument for those who do believe it, the money FIFA/UEFA can rack from having Barcelona/RM/Bayern, etc... in the top4 its much much more than with Atletico/Porto/Wofls, etc... Abd considering how corrupts those sob can be, but im not one of those)
But theres a pressure those teams generates, and i can see its really REALLY hard to take some huge decisions like giving Suarez a red or something like that in Camp Nou or in front of 80+ thousand people, not to mention what it means for you to do it.
Like i said, i think theres a indirect situation that drives ref to be more relaxed against those teams.

In theory, the ruling organism can't change disciplinary sanctions already given by the referee.

He pushed, 4th official calls ref, yellow, good. He didn't kick him, like you said, it was a general hustle for incoming cross. I dunno what you're on about but I was talking anout the assault on Juanfran. Which would be a red if 4th official took notice.

Time for some predictions for tonight!!!
PSG 2-1 City. I think PSG is slightly stronger but not by much. They're missing Verratti, that hurts a lot. City has no defense though now x)
Wolfsburg 1-3 Madrid. The difference of level between the players of each team is too big, and Madrid will be pumped after their victory Saturday. Should be easy enough for them.

I didnt misrepresent anything. I didnt take anything out of context either. If you dont want things misrepresented, dont make stupid 1 liners you think are clever. Explain your point. You are misrepresenting yourself if anything.
I disagree with alot of people but I tend to atleast respect that they try to get their point across. I have zero respect for people who make arguments like they are in a school playground and think they are being clever.
Im past the point of complaining about things that should go one way or another when the game is consistently dirty because its kinda impossible for referees to be consistent. And generally I have little sympathy for teams who force that style on the game. You want to play the antagonist, fine, but then dont whine about it when you get caught.

2-1 for PSG sounds what I would also bet. I'm expecting at least one red card here.
For the other game, I think that no matter what happens today, Real do enough at home to easily advance. Depending on who scores the first goal, I wouldnt rate out a Wolfsburg upset if Real do not take them seriously, having just defeated Barca. If Real score first, it will probably be very ugly for Wolfsburg.

I think Real will crush like a 3-0 / 3-1 tbh. Wolfsburg is the kind of team that will give them enough looks and the quality upfront is always there.
2-1 PSG sounds solid also could also be a 1-0 PSG. But I dont think the game will have many cards any reason you think there will be a red ?

I feel that at this stage of the champions league, there is always some drama around the corner, and here we have two teams that have both many reasons to be highly motivated, possibly leading to some overzealous plays.

Hahaha yellow after 19 seconds gj Luiz

Is that Aurier?
Edit: it is, yay!

could have been penalty and red easy looks like ref didn't want to kill the game so early

Not that, i think that was good call, but the Luiz stuff was interesting. I think the Matiuidi call was spot on
