This Uruguay is pretty weak now. Lugano is gone, Forlan is gone. Before it was a front 3 and a bunch of jobbers. Even some flair from guys like Recoba. Now its just jobbers + Suarez (Cavani is painfully over rated in my view) Edit: to be fair he the ref did let the game go alot early on and kept warning them to stop and then he started pulling out the cards. The decisions were ridiculous to harsh though. But they may well he straws that broke the camels back in terms of his patience. Not a justification but some sort of rationale if there can be any. | ||

I dunno, every call he made was correct except for the first red card and you can argue that he needed help for that one. I don't think this could have been called better, just feels like the players always wanted escalation | ||
