Or have I been too used to Brazil always being too powerful? They had the best team+coach combination in 2010 though
Everybody here in Brazil love a scapegoat, and in 2010 we had Felipe Melo and Dunga. Felipe Melo was incredibly stupid against Netherlands, but Dunga had a great record with the team and was unfairly blamed. People kept saying Dunga ruined the "brazilian" way of playing the game, that we were playing too "european".
Recently this has been getting better, with people realizing that Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Romario etc were gone, it´s not easy to find players like them and we need to actually play tactical football like the rest of the world.
Kinda off topic what I am saying here hahaha, but 99% of people who say things like "Brazil had a good team+coach combination in 2010" are not from Brazil. I find this very interesting... but I agree with you.

I think you're all forgetting the real powerhouse of this tournament, the ones who are going to win it all... Peru

Well, you have to play with what you have, this Brazil has surprisingly strong defensive midfield and their back line, play to your strenghts, theres no real 9 like Ronaldo back in the day...
you have 3 extremely fast offensive players also (well, now 2) between Neymar, Firmino and Willian, Brazil could destroy any defense with their speed and precision.
Sure, its not "brazil", but who cares.

Wtf, no extra time in the play-offs? (with the exception of the final) That's pretty shit.

Chile is playing lights out. But like 0 chances since Uruguay in bus mode

God damn, Ray Hudson loves himself some Valdivia.

I just turned my tv off and found a British stream. Any player that can pass or has a half decent touch makes him jizz like a 12 year old who found his first porn mag.

And miss the goosebumps in coconut size?
This ref is in the middle of a minefield btw. Let's hope he can keep up the decent decisions.

I had forgotten there was a match today, just turned on 10 minutes ago. Chile is dominating hard.

Maybe that'll change when there's a goal. I love his passion, but man does he go overboard often.

Hes bearable because Messi is not playing. But I have had to deal with him for over half a decade and I just had enough.

Ouch for Vidal. That could have been a ligament. Nasty side-ways bending of the knee.
|
wait till one team starts losing. Uruguay gonna take the shit kicking to another level and guys like Vidal can give it just aswell.
Infact the only guy on either team that probably is a touch player that wont be up for a fight every chance is Valdivia. And thats a maybe.

Is Ray Hudson on bein sports??? I missed the first half
I just can't take the guy's tenor.

Rebs apparently has a non Hudson stream so you might wanna ask him.
Oh and in addition to the no extra time rule they also have the ever popular 3rd place playoff. I thought only FIFA was greedy enough to have that.
