Sometimes you just need to step up. They did.

I guess but those 3 teams both topped their groups respectively. Chile/Argentina/Brazil would rather Argentina vs Brazil finals :D even if it is now without Neymar.

I don't see so clear the three semifinalists. Colombia has a good team and the can defeat Argentina pefectly. And Chile and No-Neymar-Brazil can loose to Uruguay and Paraguay.
I don't expect the three in the semifinals.

Uruguay wasn't wtf copa america though... It even affirmed their 2010 performance as best SA team at that time

What a weird situation - not playing the last group matches at the same time...

Yeah they are just a solid team though, Godin Suarez Cavani the true stars and at best they have mediocre players around those. Perreria's etc. I would rate Colombia's squad on paper now better than that, i also think Chile are now the "new uruguay" in terms of what their team gives.
1. Argentina 2. Brazil 3. Chile 4. Colombia 5. Uruguay
Is how i rate South America teams inside South America.

I would expect more of Uruguay with Suarez.
|
I'm not even sure to consider Brazil as the favorite against Paraguay.

i miss Forlan

he is going to finally play at home for peñarol also we love ruining parties from the first copa at argentina to maracana in 1950 then argentina again in last copa 2011 to name a few so maybe we fail this time but in this kind of games is were we shine go celeste :p

Brazil has been a mediocre team since 2006. Mediocrity has been around for 9 years, wow...
Or have I been too used to Brazil always being too powerful?
|
so Neymar left
the captain left ? really ? left for what, to go to ipanema beach ? He should have stayed with the team till the very end...

From what I understand Dunga was highly critical of how he was still the main story last year and just wanted the distraction gone. Would make sense to send him home if they didn't even bother with the appeal.

They had the best team+coach combination in 2010 though

Well, If Colombia wasnt so bad they would have been in the upper racket agaisnt Bolivia, meaning Chile/Uruguay vs Colombia and Argentina vs Brazil/Paraguay in semi finals
