The guys on NBAtv just described both Waiters and Smoth as volume scoreres, which is absolutely accurate, and basically said they didn't like either of them as players. I find it hilarious that the term "volume scorer" basically is a way of subtly saying a guy sucks.

If the rumors are true, why does OKC want Waiters..? Reggie kind of already acts like a blackhole on offense, especially at the end of games. Adding Waiters is just gonna keep taking possessions away from WB/KD.

Dalembert can contribute after he clears waivers (if he does) to Hou/Dal/Cleveland/others. People are gonna want him like they wanted Josh Smith. He's a decent rim protector but has motivation issues. A bench role should suit him just fine.

edit: actually not sure if Dal can pick him up since they traded him (?). They're probably gonna get O'Neal anyway.

I mean if you watch the 3's he takes this game, they're not horrible shots for an average NBA 3 point shooter; he's just unbelievably bad at them and should never take them outside of the open corner. Instead of standing on the arc he should roll to the rim more often or post up and he'd be great for houston...

What sort of protection is on the 1st round pick going to the cavs? Seems crazy that they managed to turn Waiters + a 2019 2nd rounder into JR, Shump and a 2015 1st rounder.

They should go after dalembert too, even if it's for limited minutes.

edit2: also hilarious seeing smith attempt 2 3's in the last 2 minutes vs chicago.
