Patrick Roberts looking great for Fulham. Just 17, but the liveliest player on the pitch, right now. FULL TIME: Fulham lose their first game on their Championship return. Ouch.

Fulham offered very little goal threat for most of the game despite having good possession. Then with what 5 minutes to go they score that really nicely worked goal and all bets are off. The home fans are panicking the Ipswich players are begging for the full time whistle. Final 10 mins or so where great entertainment for the neutral. Time to watch Sayle and Elegant!

Its up to debate wether its pervert or not to pay someone 80 million to play for another football club but Hulk 55? Mata 44? Cavani 64.5?!? I mean i knew it was bad but holy shit so much money wasted on slightly above average players.

You havent watched him at Napoli for once right? He is much better than you thought, and i'd rate him higher than Lewandowski or any striker in Bundesliga. 2010-2011- 33 goals in 47 matches 2011-2012- 33 goals in 48 matches 2012-2013- 38 goals in 47 matches = total 104 goals in 138 matches. He scored 25 goals in 45 matches for PSG, and he wasnt playing in his main position.

2010-2011 | 39 Goals 45 Games 2011-2012 | 41 Goals 52 Games 2012-2013 | 19 Goals 32 Games = 99 Goals in 129 Games Sold for 15.5 million. A bit of a "wrong example" because it was a special situation but still Cavani is a good player, a really good one with a good team around him but for sure not 64.5 million "good", i guess there are around 5 to 10 players with a simular position in Bundesliga alone on that level or better.

Gaizka Mendieta dominated club footie around year 2000. Fantastic passer of the ball, so natural! He was the leader of a Valencia that really made their mark on euro footie.

Considering there are thousands of pro players and these can be top 100-200 easily, I think the "slightly above average" tag is likely bs, no offence. Also there is Buffon in that top25. How is he not awesome? But I agree the football prices are all over the place (as in really high).
