That defender needs to try and block that, not slow down and try to get out of the way.

Rafael van der Vaart heading to Sporting Kansas City it seems. Seems like the right move for him. He is under heavy critique at Hamburg who are again playing a horrible season. He just doesnt seem to fit in the fast and physical play of the Bundesliga anymore.

Been like that for the last 2-3 years imo. I know he has a lot of fans (over here) but he's been slowing down the national squad for years now. He still has some skill and manages to get himself into the right spot occasionally, I'd say that's perfect for the USA, the people there need beautiful goals ;P.

France getting annihilated at home against their arch-rival, Brazil. 1-3 atm.

Brazil would have won WC2014 if they had kept Dunga as national coach.
Brazil was the best side in WC2010 (not player wise, tactically) and they just had horrible bad luck vs Netherlands.

So, Hull were fined for having their players surround the referee. Funny how that big club that thinks that everyone's out to get them gets away with one of the most blatant surroundings of a referee I've ever seen.
I'll just chalk it up to the continuing comedy routine of the FA.
In international news, my proud and not-so-mighty Sweden face Moldova tonight. We haven't been playing great, but we are undefeated in the group so far.

Well the difference, the Hull player fouls the Leicester player with a bad tackle, they all jump up and harass the referee because he gave a freekick. Now if you are implying that the big club is Chelsea that get away with it, we surrounded the ref in response to a tackle, not responding to a player doing the tackling which is just crazy.

I'd argue that surrounding the ref in any situation is unacceptable. You've got a captain to take the discussion with the ref. Crowding him to impact his decision-making is just unsportsmanlike. I remember UEFA or FIFA in the past saying that everyone doing it should be booked, but I guess that got kicked to the curb right away.
