Incident I'm not sure I agree with the punishment, because Skrtel was running at full speed (the gif is in slow motion, obviously) and can't control where de Gea will go. This isn't the Matrix. But while my moral and idealistic side is upset, the other side of me is quietly happy, since he'll miss Liverpool's match with Arsenal. And I'm happy that they're actually going back and punishing people for something that the refs didn't see for once. | ||

here's what i saw. he took a smaller steps/was in the midst of slowing down his run, but the stamp with his right foot was a larger stride, like he was aiming for de gea. seems like he was looking at where he was stepping too, so he could have easily jumped over de gea. of course that's just my interpretation of the incident. | ||
