Chelsea and Manchester City are exactly tied at the top. If the season ended now they would have to play a one-game playoff for the title at a neutral field.

Pathetic how Mourinho set his team up today, lots of players should not of came out for the 2nd half and they did. Ivanovic has been shit for 3 games in a row now Azpilicueta played worst game of his career at Chelsea Cesc going forward great but did nothing to help at the back Matic went missing on everything in which you cannot do All in all the reason for that loss is again the lack of rotation from Mourinho. The players clearly tired and fatigued into that performance. Oh well they get a 7 day rest now before next game as the 2nd string will be out vs Watford. Season starts here though which is fine, we play City at home in a few weeks we have to win it now to say the least. Need some confidence back and go and sort out our shape and how we defend. Tottenham were anything but world class, they had a striker who scored with every touch and Chadli who turned up for the first time in his spurs career. Other than that they were average at best. Should not lose to that. Was a bit different when we lost 3-1 at home to Atletico Madrid for example who beat us properly lol. Actually I dont really like Chadli but he's been playing well for a while now.. I am personally quite surprised, i figured Spurs would get murdered with their lazy ass midfield and lolzio. Anyone whining about refs, or time delays or ball boys. Give it a fucking rest... puhhleeezzzz

Maybe Mourinho never saw a reason to change things since Chelsea hadn't lost a big game yet. But playing both Fabregas and Oscar seems like suicide. One of them should be dropped in these games in favor of someone with a better defensive work rate and more natural experience as a DM. In their squad I think Ramires would be perfect for this. He's helped by the fact that Suarez, Alexis, and Costa only played half the year in England, and Aguero has been injured, but it's still an impressive feat nonetheless

Why did I trust the Spurs' inability to perform against big teams?

edit: No chance for top 4, though. The squad still needs improving and Levy simply won't back Pochettino in the January market.

It should be a nice battle for the title between City and Chelsea and then a great battle for the next two spots between a bevy of teams. Very unpredictable season thus far.
