We do that to everyone except to like Spain when we played them at home. We're kinda cool with them.

Willems definitely showed he isn't ready for this level though. van Rhijn played really good I think in his re-debut. Krul was terrible too. Veltman will get a lot of criticism again, but shit's hard when Krul is passing to him when there's 2 Mexican attackers breathing in his neck.

Even though it was probably slightly better than last few games because the formation and running patterns seem to be sinking in. But there were still so many sloppy errors, failed passes, and people just weren't reacting and making decisions. Afellay and Sneijder both not taking the shot in the first half in excellent positions made me feel like they were over-thinking everything. Promes and Willems looked like shit, van Rijn looked slow, Robben and Huntelaar inaccurate. But we're not done - things may start to pick up from here, maybe ;P.

While they aren't the greatest defenders individually, they aren't exactly helped by a midfied of Afellay + Sneijder which so far has been a standard feature in Hiddink's side. Now lost 4 out of 5 and played poorly in the one we managed to win. Can't talk about the others, but at least Indi has been pretty solid so far for Porto. Nothing to blame him for so far at the club level.

Great to hear him do well in club level, one of my favorite players personality wise and he was always a solid defender for Feyenoord. This makes me all the more suspicious of our midfield rather than our defense, Blind can't do things alone in midfield.

![]() I do think Blind played an excellent game. His time at Man U definitely made him better already. More mature, stronger too.

World Cup inquiry clears Qatar but criticises English FA The English Football Association has been accused of flouting bidding rules in its attempt to stage the 2018 World Cup - but 2022 hosts Qatar have been cleared of corruption allegations. A Fifa report says the FA behaved improperly when trying to win the backing of a key voter. Qatar faced a number of claims surrounding its bid, but the Gulf state is now in the clear. In effect, Fifa's long-awaited report ends talk of a re-vote. In a statement, football's world governing body welcomed the fact that "a degree of closure has been reached". + Show Spoiler + http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30031405 Fifa report 'erroneous', says lawyer who investigated corruption claims The findings of Fifa's inquiry into allegations of corruption during bidding for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups have been questioned - by the man who conducted the two-year investigation into the claims. In an unexpected twist, lawyer Michael Garcia says the report "contains numerous materially incomplete and erroneous representations of the facts and conclusions". + Show Spoiler + http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30037729 Oh fifa you lovable mafia you.

FBI moves ahead with FIFA corruption probe "FIFA said its investigation found no corruption and has no reason to reopen the bidding process. But the FBI, which is leading the U.S. probe, isn't ready to do the same. Investigators are moving ahead with their probe, which could result in charges against senior FIFA officials, the U.S. law enforcement officials said. FBI agents based in New York are moving ahead with their 3-year-old investigation, which will likely benefit from the findings of a former U.S. prosecutor, Michael Garcia, who was hired by FIFA to do an internal probe. The FBI plans to seek access to Garcia's report, which FIFA hasn't yet released." http://www.kspr.com/news/politics/fbi-moves-toward-fifa-corruption-charges/21051736_29696018 Edit: Oh and this little gem from one of the forums i read :D As for Russia, they have also been cleared, although the report noted its bid team made "only a limited amount of documents available for review". According to the report, the Russian team hired computers that were subsequently destroyed, denying the inquiry access to email accounts. Responding to the report, Alexey Sorokin, the chief of Russia's 2018 World Cup organising committee, said the country had nothing to hide.
