Well, I know which of the two has won the CL more often. Ibra is impressive and all, but his inability to get over this grudge is a bit pathetic really.

Ibra has a huge superiority complex. He just can't handle the fact that he wasn't the big star at Barça and that he just wasn't good enough. And I'm not necessarily talking pure football skill, but being part of a well-oiled machine is another skill that he failed completely at while he was at Barça. He couldn't for whatever reason bend down to the system that made them one of the best football teams in history due to his ego issues.
Somewhat relatively to the post above, seems that I was wrong at my prediction that loucho would keep messi as a false 9. It's obvious by now that messi is playing deeper, almost as much as with argentina. He will score somewhat less, assist more and more importantly barca won't get shut down just by crowding messi out because he will be able to pick off passes to neymar/suarez, like he did in the world cup.
Considering that, Ibra was unlucky to have joined barca in an era which teams gave messi space to do as he pleased. If he had joined now he would be the spearhead as he wanted to, like neymar is now.
Chivas USA will suspend operations at the end of the MLS regular season, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation have told ESPNFC.com.
One source added that the league has agreed to sell the club to an undisclosed investment group for a fee in the neighborhood of $100 million, and that going on hiatus is a condition of the sale.
The club is expected to go dark for a minimum of two years until the new ownership group can plan and build a new stadium for the team. MLS has confirmed the land in Exposition Park where the L.A. Sports Arena sits as a potential site for the new venue.
The time period will also allow the club to be rebranded with a new name.
MLS purchased the troubled club -- which will miss the playoffs for the fifth straight season, and is last in the league in attendance -- in February, and officials have stated that they expected to sell the team by the end of the season.

Ibra's biggest strength AND biggest weakness has always been his personality... It's not about the system, it's about whether you're willing to adapt to it or not, and clearly Ibra was not. Also, no matter how talented he is or how important he is for a team during a whole season, he never shows up for big games.

Dude will crash and suck like he did every year after the first ~2 months at Barça.
hmm lol? Fabregas assist records is like one of the best in Europe? Last year he over took Ozil as the most assists in Europes top 5 big leagues. He has just broke a record providing (at least) 1 assist in 6 consecutive games in the premier league. He is 6 assists in 6 games for Chelsea as well, i don't think he ever crashes as burns. Just at Barca if your not scoring 3 goals a game and taking on the whole team you're not very good

I don't get this. Have you read his book? Zlatan was willing and did try to adapt to the life and play at Barcelona. He had a wonderful start to the season. Then he got shafted because Messi wanted to play centrally. Now, you put those two in a the same space that's not in a FIFA game, and tell me how that's supposed to work out. Both are ball-hungry as hell. Why buy Zlatan for huge money, only to play him out of position?
Then of course came the personality clashes, and Zlatan could probably have made more of an effort to stay, but Zlatan and Guardiola came from different walks, had different philosophies and just didn't work well together. After some arguments, Zlatan got frozen out, and from there it was probably not salvageable.
Herrera, Smalling, Evans, Young, Jones, Fellaini, Lingard, Carrick and Rooney all out for us now, worse than arsenal at this point. And we have Chelsea, Everton and Man City coming up....
Waiting for people to call for LVG's head in a few weeks despite this is a pretty harsh situation hes in
