That was a timing thing though, they only got that underpay cause Curry was coming off multiple injuries and no one was sure if he would stay healthy. It obviously paid off but if it went the other way and Curry got continually injured again it would have seemed like a huge overpay for a bust.

Theyll struggle against good defensive teams and will have defensive issues themselves. But they're going to outrun so many teams too. They need a Larry Sanders type big though. The west is so loaded so it's difficult to gauge where they sit. Id hazard a guess in the 45-50 win region.

I remember that year before he was signed to the contract. All of those ankles injuries. However I feel like Bledsoe is pretty much the same situation except the expectation is higher for him. Either Phoenix got a steal like GSW did with Curry or they regret paying him a lot of money. It all depends on up and coming season to see if can last longer than half. Edit: I'm still amazed that the West is 12 teams deep for the playoffs contention.

Good team on paper but Rose will take at least a season to get back to something resembling a superstar (assuming he doesn't blow his knee again). Meanwhile Miami's being very underrated.

Bulls have a few problems that I think may cause them to be outside the top 4. Also you're forgetting Miami ![]()
