Yep, same here. Looking forward to watching some basketball again. This sport is so great :D. I was so rusty and didn't know any young players though. Thankfully I've played NBA 2K14 for 200 hours (not even ashamed of it), so I'm pretty up to date on who to watch for. Right? :D

Yea for Bledsoe it's $80m. That 2M difference per year is actually bigger than it seems due to them saving cap space. When the salary jumps in a few years, a $14m star guard on a cap sheet of $80m because laughably easy to leverage into championship dreams assuming management gets it way. Basically Phoenix already arguably has the best backcourt in the league and it could also end up being the cheapest. Signing 2 bigs at a star level is a real possibility for them. They were pretty much a 55+ win team last year but injuries to Dragic + Bledsoe slowed them down.

It's a good deal for bled. I really like him as a player. But his health is a big worry. If he blows his knee again it's gonna devolve to Eric Gordon bad.

I was thinking about the discussion of whether Bledsoe is worth a max contract and, if we believe that superstars are underpaid, then a non superstar like Bledsoe might actually be on the nose of a max contract. Unfortunately, in such a scenario, you are paying an opportunity cost by not underpaying another player.
