Same reason that flopping should result in more punishment, like a suspension. On April 30 2014 09:01 RowdierBob wrote: Bleh, hopefully Sterling just sells. That is the best solution.

The NBA would be well served by issuing competition relevant penalties for egregious and/or repeated attempts to convince the refs something has happened. Unfortunately to do that they'd need to change some of the rules for how contact is called and what is/is not a foul. Which would result in another adjustment period for the refs, annnd I don't know if I could take that so soon.

This bulls team looks very flawed. Adding rose back in doesn't give them enough offensive punch. I'd expect they'll make a big play at a Melo/Love type this off season and hopefully finally amnesty boozer.

I think they should employ the same thing with the illegal hits in the NFL, but the unions will never go for those kind of restrictions.

how come you will be banned for life being racist but can still play/signed on multiple contracts despite multiple DUIs/rape/drugs/bringing guns into the locker room etc?

Because racism is worse than all of those crimes, obviously.

Has there ever been a convicted rapist who has gone on to play a game? All of the above are actually legal problems, and legally the players face punishment and deal with it, so it's also different that way as well.
