Its a largely symbolic gesture to ostracise sterling so he sells the team IMO. Whether or not he wants to relinquish the cash cow is another thing and where it could get very ugly. | ||

The guy attends games in person and is likely a huge fan if he's an owner. So they're just not letting him ever see an NBA game live for the rest of his life. | ||
