I actually thought of a similar kind of collapse as the Pacers, the 2011 Red Sox. They were drinking beers and eating fried chicken though. Not sure what Indy is doing.

So... the Pacers started falling off the wagon in mid to late Feburary. What gets the most blame:

- Burning out in general chasing the #1 seed
- Granger traded for Turner (late Feb)
- The canc- um Bynum joining the team (early Feb)
- George finding out he was sending his junk to a dude

I'm not an NBA historian or anything, but I can't think of a single example to mirror Hibbert's season, ever. At the All-Star break, he was on the all-star team, maybe the best center in the east(Noah), and probably a lock for DPOY. Now he's sitting on the bench watching Mahinmi and Copeland take his minutes, or watching his team forced to play this awkward small ball lineup with CJ Watson. Zero rebounds in 12 minutes.
