malkin is a really good hockey player.. period.. end of story. Malkin has played lots without crosby.

A good call? Commentators here mentioned that Quick even tried to mention about the moved goal to the referees and they still did NOTHING. Then Russia scored.
They did follow the rules, but this wouldn't have happened if the referees would do their job.

Dude that was in the quarter finals, then they went on to lose in the semi's. I wouldnt really qualify that is a "huge game" a big goal maybe. But that hardly counts as a Huge game especially since he was invisible most of that game. Im not an ovechkin hater like some, but he really does tend to go the way of the Sedin's in huge games.

Every Olympic, the Russians get worse and worse. Partially thanks to 'stars' like Malkin and Ovechkin. Look at the way Datsyuk plays and the way those two do. Its a different level, and in large part its a generational shift. Once he retires there is no one on the horizon to take up his flag of total play. Just a bunch of half zone players busy chasing personal glory.
