Training goals -- Improve pullups to 10 consecutive from 5, pushups to 40 from 25 and situps to 40 from 20. Nutrition goals -- Eat more of anything, preferably real food like rice, potatoes, and supplements - take vitamins daily. Goal is 2000 calories a day, currently I'm lazy and don't eat near enough. Sleep goals -- 8 hours a night minimum, bed by 1am. Misc/stress goals -- Meditate 5 minutes each day this week, include at least three 20-minute days and one hour-long day. | ||

In terms of fitness 2013 sucked majorly for me. I teared my meniscus in December 2012, had surgery in March 2013 but never recovered anywhere close to where I have been before. I am basically in pain every day and my left leg is massively weaker than my right by now making every activity incredibly imbalanced. Here are my stats over the few major lifts I could do last year: + Show Spoiler [2013 Lifts] + Year over year I went: DL: 145 -> 100 Bench: 90 -> 80 Squat: 100 -> 50 Press: 62 -> 55 Clean: 65 -> 0 For next year all I want to have is functioning legs again. I am currently trying to get that imbalanced fixed by doing lots of single leg exercises (leg press, extensions, etc). Putting in BW squat and light barbell squats as well. Some good news is that I can deadlift again with little pain. I even ran for 2 minutes the other day, although that quickly started hurting badly in my knee. A dream would be to be able to ski again next year, which is my favorite thing to do in the world and is a huge part missing in my life currently. I don't have any more specific goals, just want to get healthy again. A 100kg bench would be nice, but past 80kg my progress is incredibly slow so I don't know how realistic that is. In terms of weight, nutrition etc: I picked up all the weight I lost in the hospital and after surgery, but unfortunately it is mostly fat. I would be happy to stay at 72kg but increase my lifts back to where they were and beyond. Not really concerned about weight in general though. I am still eating fairly cleanly. Things I still want to improve is to make an effort to buy ethically produced meat and consume less caffeine again. | ||
