TT don't get me wrong I'm confident that we are by far the best team in the west... but that championship man:D
Or maybe just listen to them too much. This narrative was dreamed up by idiotic big market slavering pinheads who are trying to justify their clear biases. Regular season success is the best indicator of success in the playoffs (or, more specifically, I think it's average margin of victory) and the Spurs have had the most consistent regular season and playoff success of any team for the past 15 years. You can't win every year, and they've won 4 of the last 15 years. That's more than 25%. The reason they seem to "fail" so much is because they are always in a position to fail. What are the Celtics, Lakers, Mavs and Heat doing in between championship years? Sucking shit for the most part. Last year seemed like a dream season and they were one missed rebound/one miracle 3/two Joey Crawford officiated games/one non call away from winning last year, but all wasn't perfect: Tony Parker was gassed and injured from a whackjob of a schedule and so was Leonard. If even the Heat with all their advantages can't guarantee invincibility, then neither can the Spurs. All you can do is control everything you can and hope for the best. mm yea I guess you're right, can't really do nothing but hope for the best

I still have PTSD flashbacks from the Finals. I try not to think about it.

ikr TT Where's that one interview where pop got asked about not fouling the other team when they were ahead to ensure the win and the answer was"That's a European question right? We don't do that here." ooooh so sad

man I hope rose is ok, if he loses his explosiveness he will have to become a completely different player.

Rose injured again
I might actually cry if he's seriously hurt, fuck
This is like Brandon Roy all over again. I can't stand seeing great players get hurt. Iggy hurt, Steph hurt, this really sucks.

Some players just have glass in their body, once stuff shatters it just never goes back to what it once was.

Depends on what it is. Prior to the ACL injury it's not like he was injury-prone at all. Plus his old injury was in his other leg, it's not like the "glass shattered" in his right knee before.

But it's not uncommon for your body to compensate on strains with opposite side. Often right ankle injuries lead to left ankle injuries, and local joint pain and injury, since your body compensates some of the weight load.

He totally did, but that's beside the point.

Why let the rules get in the way of a cool play?
