The Dubs' half court game is just awful without Curry in there. Signing Tinsley on the cheap can't have too much risk associated to it. edit: we also have two sizeable TPEs from the Biedrens/R Jeff trade.

They need someone to facilitate the second unit. I'm not calling to burn the thing down just sign/trade for a vet PG.

meh i know it's weird to complain when your team is doing well, but I just don't see us beating the heat or maybe even pacers and I have no idea what could be done to avoid it,trade wise. What do you guys think?

I think you sound like an ESPN beat writer. Or maybe just listen to them too much. This narrative was dreamed up by idiotic big market slavering pinheads who are trying to justify their clear biases. Regular season success is the best indicator of success in the playoffs (or, more specifically, I think it's average margin of victory) and the Spurs have had the most consistent regular season and playoff success of any team for the past 15 years. You can't win every year, and they've won 4 of the last 15 years. That's more than 25%. The reason they seem to "fail" so much is because they are always in a position to fail. What are the Celtics, Lakers, Mavs and Heat doing in between championship years? Sucking shit for the most part. Last year seemed like a dream season and they were one missed rebound/one miracle 3/two Joey Crawford officiated games/one non call away from winning last year, but all wasn't perfect: Tony Parker was gassed and injured from a whackjob of a schedule and so was Leonard. If even the Heat with all their advantages can't guarantee invincibility, then neither can the Spurs. All you can do is control everything you can and hope for the best.
