They've been relying on him way too much the last few years though and it hasn't translated into any kind of real playoff success. Sure the Clippers are good enough right now to make the playoffs but if they can't win without constant heroics from Chris Paul they aren't even close to being title contenders. That's the issue here. If the goal of the Clippers is to win the championship, they can't rely on Chris Paul to bail them out every night. | ||

And I was thinking that it is easy to see the influence of Alvin Gentry (extension of D'Antoni) in the Clippers offense already. Their pace is quicker than last year and their 3 point attempts are way up. Redick has been solid and he will only get better as the season goes on. | ||
