I'm not sure. I think it could be argued Pekovic wouldn't get as good of looks if Love weren't there. This season Love hasn't played in three games, they have lost all three. But those three have also been against Miami, OKC and Portland. Pekovic specifically only played in one of those games, the Miami one, which happened to be the worst of the losses. He went for 18 and 12 but only shot 7-18. Obviously too small of a sample size. But Miami has a weak front court, you would hope without Love that Pekovic would have performed better.

Love is a great player so taking him out of the team will obv impact on their chances of winning. No chance they can cover his individual production. But does he make his team mates better? It's an interesting concept because it's somewhat difficult to define. There are obvious examples, LeBron, but others that are tough to say. The same criticism is levelled at Kyrie: great individual but what does he do to elevate performance of team mates? It is something that exists. MJ said he made a concerted effort to involve his team mates more often, rather than just focusing on his game, after failing to get over the Pistons hurdle. It helped that he had an awesome team but it appears a star's true value is not just in his individual game but his influence on those around him. Does K Love have this level of influence?

I didn't realize how good of a shooter Williams was. 43% is nothing to sneeze at, in fact, it's extremely good. It's much closer than I previously thought, and I don't know enough about Williams's defense to make an accurate call. To be fair, without Love, Pekovic is the only guy who can score with any consistency, unless Kevin Martin from three years ago shows up. I'd expect him to be bottled up by Miami in that situation. I personally believe that's the problem with them. He's just a zero on offense.

He's due to be a FA, won't stay, and they got another 2nd round pick out of it. Seems fine to me.

Turner's going to be an RFA. The 76ers could have had him back if they really wanted him.

They clearly had no intention to resign him. Pretty obv they're going hard for Wiggins and clearing roster to maxmise his development.

He's barely worth half that IMO.
