People keep saying MU's squad is mediocre except Rooney and RVP, but it's definitely good enough to finish in the top 4, at least on paper. A sign of a good coach is the ability to bring out the best in players, even the mediocre ones. It's about knowing their strengths and weaknesses, and developing a system that can bring out the good in most of them. Moyes, so far, has failed to demonstrate this. For example, against Swansea, he played Kagawa as CAM and then decided his team should just boot things into the box to create chances. What?????
You only need to look at what managers like Rodgers and Martinez has been able to do with their squads to see how Moyes is lacking in this. I know he's been unlucky with injuries (then again, so has a lot of teams), but he simply is not a top coach. And for people who keep saying Moyes deserves the same patience that Fergie got when he first started at MU, that's a load of old tosh. This is a different time and MU is a very different beast. If he keeps going like this, I'd be very surprised if he still has a job by the end of February.
Then again, as an Arsenal fan, it's hilarious to see MU faltering so much. I hope he gets to see out his 6 year contract.

Dude was OP as fuck on FM13 though. Gladbach are my bogey team in FM because of him+Patrick Herrmann.
I'd say that I don't want Mandzukic on my team because he's a dirty cunt, but considering how much I wanted Arsenal to sign Suarez during the summer, I'd welcome Mandzukic with open arms.

He's not even unlucky with injuries he let RVP play the whole game when he couldn't and that's why he got injured again... I agree with you that Moyes doesn't deserve tbe same.amount of time Ferguson got. Ferguson had alrrady proven himself to be a champion caliber coach at Aberdeen while Moyes only trained Everton

sacking moyes isnt going to do shit for man utd atm. i dont think any supporter of man utd wants to see the club turn into chelsea or man city. our whole team is playing shit this season, minus rooney and maybe rvp. hopefully we get some transfers done this window otherwise were going to have to wait till next season to see if the team can still win things.
Why isn't anyone pointing at RVP and saying he is finished yet? xD
I mean when Yanited bought him i said they would get 1 year out of him then he would just die again. He is one of the most injury prone strikers since Michael Owen? This could be it for him, he might not make the recovery he needs to be able to play week in week out again. Remember he only had that one good season at Arsenal which was the first in years after being plagued by injury. To then get signed by United have another full year and now is injured constantly. Also fears the Moyes training method might be "to strong" for him as wrote about earlier during pre season.
If that is the case and RVP is going to be struggling for fitness for the rest of his Yanited career (And we know he isn't young anymore, currently 30, 31 in August) and Rooney leaves in the Summer due to not signing a new contract. Yanited go from having a little to having nothing and need to completely rebuild. Also then how do you attract people to your club if your not in the Champions League and possibly not even in Europe all together? Yes they have a big name and a big history, but a player doesn't care about these things now a days? It's all about Champions League football and winning things?

This man.u is not just an above average team they were 20 years ago. They can't just blindly trust a coach loss after loss. If they can't stay competitive in PL/CL, their financial size will be dwarfed. I will be surprised if he sees the season out unless he dramatically improves.

Like I said in my last post Van Persie is injured this long because Moyes played him too early. He could only play him for 60 minutes but let him play the whole game vs Newcastle and the next game he got injured again. I knly have the Dutch source but I'll link it anyway.

"'Ik denk dat als ik hem eraf had gehaald mensen zouden zeggen: Wat doe je nu? Je staat 1-0 achter en je haalt je topscorer eraf', aldus Moyes. 'Ik denk dat dat het verhaal vertelt over waarom ik hem liet staan.'"
This just tells me that Moyes has allowed the media pressure to get to him. He basically came out and said "I was more worried about being grilled by the press than my player's health."
Also if I was Hernandez or Welbeck I would be pretty pissed reading that; Moyes obviously doesn't trust either of them even against Newcastle's mediocre defense.
