A last-second Fellaini panic buy (after lowballing Everton insultingly for a Fellaini + Baines package) and failed loan bid for Coentrao topped the window off...not exactly the work of a master. Oh and they could have had Dembele the previous summer, before Moyes took over, but offered Fulham something like £5m when the asking price was 15. He's the kind of steel they are really missing in midfield right now. | ||

Maybe it isn't Moyes' fault but they seem to lack the spark they had last year and through out the Ferguson years imo, though I do agree that their midfield is a lot weaker than what it once was, and their defenders aren't getting younger. Still they have a rather competitive team. | ||

RVP Carry for half a season, Fergie black magic second half.. United had a fear factor for mid to low table PL teams despite not being very good, the amount of games teams bent over for them after dominating them for 60 mins was ridiculous,, Villa ,Swansea, Norwich, West Brom at the very least all had fixtures where they should have gained points from United and quite literally handed them over. Also other potential challengers all decided to start pissing over themselves. Fact is its not totally Moyes, its just a mediocre team. | ||
