Oh god I hope this isn't true. They play Ajax in the CL in 2 weeks time and I'll be there. My chance to see him play in real life and he gets injured, gah.

I didn't know that. I would hate seeing top of table team without a full stadium But still...vital experience for our boys haha :3 Did they beat Twente this weekend then? I think thats who they played right? Well your boys are definitely playing the best football in the eredivisie at the moment, only Feyenoord have come close but still make too many retarded mistakes in their defense and are wasteful in front of goal. Anyway I am being a bit too harsh on Vitesse because the stadium is simply too big for the club. The stadium is used as a concert hall for the east of the Netherlands and German towns across the border, nearly always a sellout. It's just that Arnhem itself isn't really that big and the surrounding area is home to a lot of different clubs. They played Utrecht btw and looked good in the match. Ooo nice nice. Playing nice football too huh, even from a dutch perspective, must be worth a look. Will keep an eye out for there next game!
Also La Liga fans and Spanish citizens. WTF is going on with the state of the pitches in Spain? Betis vs Barca yesterday i watched 20minutes of it and the pitch was shockingly dry and looked like sand was coated everywhere. It cuts up every tackle and bobbles like no other. Surely this is going to effect the beautiful passing games of the teams in Spain? Looks like every pitch needs a good soaking of water pre match. The quality gone down in recent years?
I think home teams, when they play Barca or Real, don't water the pitch on purpose since wet, fast pitches favour the technical / passing teams.
Pitch quality is part of home advantage.

Yup, Messi ruled out for 6-8 weeks - most likely till the end of this year.
TBH, it could've happened long time ago. He was playing in pretty much every game possible for 6 years straight. It was naive to hope that such workload won't hit him back; he is actually lucky that it happened now, before decisive stage of the season.

That i guess is true, but i noticed it alot in the Nou Camp too when El Classico was on. The pitch was cutting up (huge pieces of pitch coming out every slide tackle). The pitches just don't look in good condition, i guess it is hard due to the Spanish climate is warm pretty much 80% of the year but i never used to see it that bad :S

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Im travelling to europe for the first time ever to watch Barca vs Celtic on Dec 11 and messi might not be there?!?!?!?!?!??!?! HKLJF:SJKDF:LKJDSFLKJSDFLKJSDFLKJSDLFKJSDF BTW: im from california not holland ;D

It was already risky to pick Barça vs Celtic since Barça always put youngsters for the last game when they're already sure to finish 1st I feel your pain! It's fine there are many ways to "forget" in Barcelona :D

Yep they even beat Arsenal. Kagawa always plays out of position but is still doing quite good
|
tbh i think it would be in everyones best interests if kagawa did leave united. hes never going to play the position he wants/deserves and we have better players out wide. bring reus in wouldnt help much either imo. hed have to constantly play wide, although hed be better than kagawa at it

The reason that deal is most likely going to happen as Reus is the player 1 united want and 2 moyes wants to utilize.
Here is how Moyes wants to line up his yanited team (imo)
------------------RVP LW---------Rooney--------RW ----------CM---------CM
Fellaini can hold one of those CM spots eventually when Moyes has some balls to play him. RW Valencia is probably going to play there for the rest of the season now due to his ability to defend. A moyes player, like Rooney who plays CAM but isn't scared to run back 30yards to try and get the ball back. Reus coming in to play LW is perfect, he knows how to track back and he has that quality to cross a ball and take people on. Playing Kagawa out there is no benefit to anyway, the only position he can fulfil in the yanited team is CAM but he wont ever get that due to Rooney offers 1000% more than him defensively.

You do know that Kagawa is part of the 100% for the team BVB? He defends more than most CAMs in the world...

Yes but defending bundesliga isn't defending premiership is it. Even if it was. Rooney defending > Kagawa defending. Rooney has one of the best defensive minded attitudes in the game in my opinion.

thats the line up everyone wants united to use, but sometimes its gonna be a straight up 4-4-2 just so rooney doesnt think hes being played in CAM again. regardless, i dont think reus is the player we really need. not sure whats happening with nani atm, but we also have januzaj, young and zaha who are also supposed to be getting game time. not to mention welbeck who is probably gonna be put lw a couple of times as well when he recovers. dont need more wingers

Yeah i forget Welbeck. But you could play Reus and Welbeck outwide. Thats how i would try fit them in. Sell both Young and Nani to free up Zaha and Januzaj's learning process.
|
selling young would be ideal but who would buy him? his wages are ridiculous. nani i still want to see a bit more of just becauses hes godly when hes on form. meh up to moyes in the end

Yeah true xD Nani is good in spells i agree. But id much rather bring in Reus who is young don't forget and then on top of that you have welbeck januzaj and zaha in the wings
