Yeah i don't see how he did any of that on purpose. He just running trying to weave in and out gets a shoulder barge or runs into defender whatever and then knocks him off ball lol

He "leans into it" by playing the ball away from the defender. I don't think you've ever played football at a fast pace if you think that this is a dive. Tell me, when you play the ball to the right with the inside of your left foot while running, what direction will your body drift in?

that was a dive. the exact kind of dive ashley young likes to make. run into the box at some speed and look for a body to collide into

Clearly at the last second Ramires chooses to go for the body and not the ball (he could have made the final movement a touch on the ball), he initiates the contact then falls over pretty easily. In that game situation, it's shady at best.

"Clearly"... no. He appears to be "going down" because of the touch with his left foot. Your body drifts outward, the slightest touch is enough to send you to the ground. It's not a foul but it's not a dive either. It's just something that happens in the movement. Accusing someone of diving who had his eyes on the ball the entire time while there's a simple physical explanation is plain dumb

when there are 2 bodies literally right next to you, it doesnt matter where youre looking, you will notice them. ramires knew 2 defenders were closing in on him so he decides to run into a defender and fall

Look at the last step Ramires makes. That's all it takes to explain this. He takes a leap forward to get a touch with the inside of his foot and in that moment is completely off balance. He couldn't even run into anyone if he wanted to, he has no control over his body in that split second. His right foot follows along to keep him in balance and there's no step after this because he collides with the defender.

I explained it above. It's physics. His body drifts outward because of the touch he takes. This is going to happen every single time you make a touch with the inside of your foot while running.

Except he doesn't do that on purpose. His left foot goes inward because of the touch he takes, his body drifts outward and the right foot drags along awkwardly because his left foot is further inside than during a normal running step. Please make a running step like that and tell me what your right foot did.
