Green has been amazing on both ends of the ball though, even if his offense has mainly been catch-and-shoot.

But the Spurs shot 60%--there's your game right there. Same shit every other game only it was SAS's turn to get hot. In fact, I'm amazed the Heat came so close only shooting 43%. I'm still backing the Heat with homecourt advantage on their side. Spurs can't sustain that good a level of shooting. Hope I'm proven wrong ![]()

You make the big bucks, you get the big titles, you get the big endorsements and the huge fame and glory, you also get the big criticism. He's a big boy, he can handle it. Ya ofc. I just mean (and didn't say) that there are so many interesting things to think/talk about here and just focusing in on scapegoating LBJ seems like it misses out. That's all. But I get it, we wanted to trade McNabb and fire Andy Reid here from ~day one. Sports is emotional like that.

That's the shit that's so aggravating. It's a fair complaint, but he doesn't even try to get back. He's supposed to set the tone for energy and he's one of the best defenders. He has to get back on defense after that.

At this point I think the MVP race is a two man race between Parker and Green. I'd say they should win it even if Miami wins the title unless Lebron explodes in the next two games. They've been by far the best players out there on either side.

Yea that really looks like Lebron just couldn't believe what happened to him, like his pride was hit so hard it actually knocked the wind out of him.

Especially with the base SA was playing at today. Yea but they've ALWAYS done that, a lot of players do. It's annoying to watch no matter who's doing it. At best you're going to be late in transition defense, at worst it's a technical foul. I know the players get heated out on the court, hell I would be too, but they need to stop doing shit like that.

It's hardly just this game, Lebron has been meet with a ton of contact at the rim this series, and has 4, 2, 0(which might actually be the one that is perfectly fine because game 3 he gave up on driving early), 4, and 9 FTAs. That has to be extremely frustrating because it completely changes his entire game as a player if he can't get calls on his drives. A lot of those no-calls might actually be the right calls, but Lebron(and pretty much every star of his caliber in the league past and present) has gotten them, it's pretty weird that this series it just stopped happening. Meanwhile, ticky tack calls are happening on the perimeter at a rate I can't fucking fathom.

The guy has been amazing in knocking down shots and playing D but he's no FMVP. As far as role players go he has been amazing but the Spurs' success still lies with Parker, Timmy and, to a lesser extent, Manu.

If Danny Green was cut by some other teams, he probably did have issues, or, at the very least, he would not be as good as he is now without being on the Spurs.
