Dupuis got more points per game in the regular season after Crosby got injured.

Even without sid, that team still has two bonafide first liners in malkin and neal, and kuntiz is pretty damn good too. I just dont see anyway that he brings $4m worth of contributions to the table. You dont pay complimentary players that much money, esp when theyre that old and only recently posted more than average third liner stats. $3m over 2 years would be fine, maybe even three. i am heading out but i am pretty sure forward comparables at that cap hit, there are a lot better players. i know off the top of my head callahan make sin that price range, and dupuis isnt half the complete player he is On July 04 2013 05:03 CorsairHero wrote: I thought the consensus was generally a positive one (omg potential lidstrom?!) it was. taku is the resident canucks homer who defends his team from all slights, real and imagined. he's just upset because more and more people have been calling for gillis' head because his asset management has been pretty brutal lately

Just because he was snake-bite for one playoffs doesn't make him expendable in my opinion lmao. The guy had so many good chances.

And here come the flyers, 8 million + for geroux. seems legit. after you saw malkin, crosby, ovechkin the 4th kind automatically in mind is geroux. thank god they have all that cap flexibility and nailed down all their other positions through wise drafting and trading so they dont have to worry about being completely locked in the way their team is...

From what Ive heard and read he was immature off the ice and hence the reason why he wasn't producing in the playoffs. For someone whose earning 6 million or about to earn 6 million this upcoming season you don't want someone whose immature and not striving to become the best possible player.

I think it goes beyond maturity with regards to not being able to put the puck in the net but whatever. I know there was going to be a few changes in Boston to have room under the cap and I heard there were rumors of Tyler being on the market but if I'm a Boston fan. This is a pretty drastic change.

Do you even know what type of player he is? He's basically a Bergeron 2.0. Playoffs is all about winning faceoffs and playing defensively. Eriksson is a 70 pt player 30 goals 40 assist every year. A player who can score 30 add 40 assist every year, wins faceoff, plays a two way game is a win in my book.
