It's the same weight as smolov Jr but the reps/sets are a little different, e.g. monday is 4x9 on Smolov where as Smolov Jr is 6x6, but both use the same percentage of 1rm. | ||

Started off by failing my 5th set of OHP at 40kg, had to move down to 37.5 to finish it off. I guess this isn't so bad since it is an improvement from my last workout (5x5 at 37.5kg) but still I really wanted to get 40 today. Then I failed my last rep of deadlift at 105kg, which I was able to complete last week. I think it was mainly due to my grip giving out. Any advice on exercises I can incorporate to improve my grip? On the bright side, my squat was fine, and I did an extended ab workout at the end because I felt like I hadn't accomplished anything today. Oh well, just have to hit it hard next time. | ||
