I self-regulate by changing the extra weight/sets and a few less intense day (specially on bench, where I push it way harder and more regularly than the deadlift) God I still feel like shit, I can't even sleep. If someone wants details I have my entire workload for the last few years written on google drive :p

Brought up some good points. I wish he would also talk about the fact that they do exercises which are not simple and shouldn't be taught to untrained athletes who are at high risk for injury, but I guess since they use his method for power cleaning he wouldn't really be one to talk about that ![]() Also, I wish I had more time to lift. I fucking hate my schedule. Every single Monday and Thursday is completely shot in terms of scheduling (don't get home until ~6:30 both days) and most weeks I'm so busy and loaded with homework that I have no time to do anything. I've honestly only done mobility stuff (mostly ankle/calf and hamstring) because I just have no time to get a real workout in at the moment. I ordered Becoming a Supple Leopard though, and I'm going to try and get more workout time in once I'm done with trimester exams. Btw, congrats GoTunk.

Judging by the excercises they are doing all the time the "preparation conversation" probably went like this: " I want toned legs and a nice ass" since he only does smith machine squats and cable kickbacks with them. Today though.... man I never expected to personally witness the infamous" lying on bench and do legpress on the smithmachine" excercise I only know from Gym No Go youtube videos ![]()

I imagine most gyms are more lax these days considering how huge it's gotten though. It does make me feel good that Rip's comments are pretty much what I've been telling people for years about Crossfit.

I started 8 months ago and had to go through 15 sessions, so no, it very much depends on the gym
