Well, you can keep quoting trophies, but show me what there is to respect about the integrity of Spanish football (if there is any), and then I'll actually show more respect to them in general. To many fans that love the game for the game and not for winning, you need a lot more than just trophies, and Spain doesn't have anything besides trophies.

But it is by far the easiest opponent. They struggled with malaga, lol. Compared with RM or Bayern I'd take dtm any day of the week.

~.~ so much anger in this thread.
wtfed a little when david beckham came in. did not expect to see him in a CL match like ever again

I totally hated Barcelone today. But i don't mind either team advancing, both are good enough for the semis.

that was like their only struggler this season and the worst game i've seen from them too in this years cl edition, so far they have been magnificent. they did beat real, man city, ajax, donezk and now malaga and they are the only UNBEATEN team left this season.

no team in the semi has shown stellar gameplay throu the 1/4 finals, gonna be fun, i hope for munich vs barca and a rematch for real dortmund. doubt a german team will win it all thou, german players have no winners mentality (thats why german international will / and does not win shit)

That move was so sexy that it would be illegal in some American states.

As much as I think Bayern deserve a CL victory for the crazy bad experience they had last year on my team's behalf, you can't help but support Dortmund, a team with infinitely less resources and spending power than the other three. A real classic football story, and a team that deserves the biggest glory.

my dream fixture would be real - bayern bvb - barca
then bayern - barca in the finals. but we'll see what happens. but even if i werent a bayern fan, id consider bayern the favorites after those quarterfinal matches. they just 4-0'd juventus turin on aggregate. thats no small feat and certainly more impressive than conceding 3 against galatasaray, an incredibly lucky last-minute victory over malaga (even though bvb deserved to advance) or two tedious draws and advancement on away goals against psg.
of all teams, bayern have the best form and the best currently available squad. (barca has a better squad ofc, but atm there are just too many injuries.)
imho, the title chances are 30% bayern, 26% barca, 22% real and 22% bvb.

Seriously that move was pure brilliance. When Iniesta first appeared in barca I used to make fun of the noob with the enormous forehead. But these elegant ballerina like moves have grown on me, I love him now.
And about the G.O.A.T, I already praised him enough but I can't stop, lol.
Let's see what happened today.
1)His sheer presence in the field inspired his teammates and terrorized the opponents. Barca with him on was a totally different team than without even with his limited ball possession.
2)He showed extreme confidence in himself, being in the bad physical state he was, he chose to play just for a few runs and few passes, he believed that much was enough to change the game and so did the rest of the 21 players in the field as #1 shows.
3)He has become a great leader. Look at this gif
![[image loading]](http://i49.tinypic.com/2u7qasm.gif)
That's only seconds after Pedro's goal and while his gang was celebrating. He didn't let the squad attack mindlessly riding their good luck and perhaps fall prey to PSG's deadly counter attacks.
What did they say about him?
@Roura-barca assistant staff "We knew Messi could play a few minutes if the result wasn't good. After we scored, he didn't take risks. He's unique."
@Pique "When you have the best player in the world, you should play him when you're in trouble, even if he's hurt. Leo changed our mindset."
@Ancelotti "Messi gave his teammates more confidence, which is normal, he's a fantastic player, even if he's not totally fit."
@Villa "Messi is the best player in the world. His sole presence changes a game. His commitment with the team should be applauded."
@LucasMoura(PSG) "Leo Messi is a genius and an idol."
And finally I managed to get TL's biggest exclusive ever with the G.O.A.T himself some minutes ago and noted his opinion on being benched. + Show Spoiler +

Actually this semi finals are already way better than the final last year. Mostly because all teams would deserve to with it all, but it is still to early to bet on any team. I think, bayern have the most pressure and that might be a disadvantage. On the other hand, dortmund are the underdogs and that might help them play their own style and surprise in the semis.
It will be a great event for every football fan, that's for sure!

Not really. Considering Germany pays for Spanish football, Germany is above them lol.

I agree that Dortmund should be the easiest opponent in this semis. But not "by far". Don't underestimate them, the better their opponent, the better they play.
This season's results from Dortmund against the other semi-finalists:
Dortmund - Real 2-1 Real - Dortmund 1-1
Bayern - Dortmund 1-1 Bayern - Dortmund 1-0 (Cup)
Dortmund are the underdogs but they can definitely compete

Yeah don't forget though. Real Madrid have gotten better as the season has gone on...Barcelona have gotten worst. Bayern have been pretty much the same level all season long? Solid from the start. IMO it should be a Bayern vs Real Madrid final as they are the best two form teams imo. How they get to that final i just hope it isn't Spanish vs Spanish and German vs German team, it would be boring as hell if that was to happen.
