Three days in, fever comes back whenever im not on cold medicine, and I woke up in the middle of last night with a rash over my whole body. Taking an antibiotic, doctor thinks it may be scarlet fever, my life sucks, I have exams and papers his week so I still have to go to class. FML.

Blew my workout today. Been lifting through my headache last time so I decide to try and stay on schedule. Didn't work. Dropped my warm-up set and just left the gym super pissed off. So frustrating. I don't want to take time off and then start from square 1 AGAIN. Fucking hell. My muscles still want to lift shit but my neck and brain are pounding. So dumb. Weight is coming up easy the bar is doing what I want it to do but I've not given attention to these headaches. Suggestions for time off/recovery?

- Lower cholesterol
- Preventing chronic disease

Triglycerides is a predictor of CVD.... refined carbs increase triglycerides a lot.

Hormesis is just like adaptation so meh.

It depends on your goals what you want to do. Generally, IF is good for those who want to lose weight or stay around the same weight.

If you're bulking I would just eat when you feel hungry and keep on eating.

i had a funny one today,
squat 75
ohp .... 4 reps then couldnt even lift the freakin bar off the rack LOL. i would say i carefully put it back down and walked away but i couldnt even lift it (done 5-5-5-5 at -2.5kg previously)
clean , fun at 55kg, cant wait for 60kg! oh i must remember that it is 3 reps not 5 lol >_>

Had a pretty awesome workout today.

Front Squat: 175lbs 3x5
OHP: 115lbs 3x5 PR
Deadlift: 295lbs 1x5 PR
Dips: BW+25lbs 3x8 PR

Also 17 more days of school. Once I am finished I am going to switch some things up about my workout/diet..

Started final cycle of smolov. Its awesome to squat again:

SQ: 110kgx3, 127.5x4, 145x4x3, 145x5
BP: 92.5x3x2, 102.5x3x2, 112.5x1

Just thats its awesome squatting again, obv it starts "light". Funny before smolov my 1rm was 150kg and now i'm doing 145x5.

I've also been watching stargate sg-1 and wonder if any of you fellow geeks watched the show. It's 10 season of 22 episodes (lol) and i've been totally hooked. In fact i'm kinda sad i'm on last season which I will prolly finish this week. Guess I'll have to pick up stargate atlantis next :d.

Hey guys, I just have a question regarding Strong lifts. I've been doing it for a while and am at the point where I'm at 1X5 work sets. Does this still mean I should be doing 4 warm up sets, I have been. But was not sure how many reps to do on warm up, I've just been doing 4 sets of 5 rep warm up. Any clarification would be nice thanks.

I don't have a weight room nearby me So I just normally run 2 miles in 15-20 minutes or 3 miles with no time limit. I do tons of pushups, flutter kicks, crunches/situps and etc. I use to do Muay Thai practice so that was good working out sessions, but I quit after a while so now I just work out on my own.

I'm going to try and hit up the weight room and treadmills/running track more often now.

Goals: Lose my gut. Lose 20 lbs. I use to weigh 150 lbs until I met my wife for the first time. GOOD GAME!

* Basically right now I eat a lot of chicken breasts, wheat bread, fruits, peanuts, some greens (corn/lettuce and etc)

* I'm a start incorporating more protein whey in my diet, but I'm trying to save some money as well. I use to do protein whey diets a lot back in 2007.

* Another goal is to show my wife a six pack and instantly lose it because she will feed me to death.
