God damn what an awful workout. Woke up after 9 hours of sleep, still exhausted. Trip over my doorstep and land flat on my face. No clue how, the doorstep can't be higher than 1/2 an inch. Failed squat, failed bench. I weigh only 81.2kg right now..
Gonna start cleanbulking again. Time for a small reset on Madcows

Oh and my plumbing is broken so all the dirty sink and shower water of three days has been stored under my cabinet. The smell is tear-inducing, urgh.

If there was a girl who you thought was too fat, you wouldn't go out with them. I'd say it's probably meaningful that she told you that, as it probably means that she likes you but it's just the weight is an issue. Good luck, but don't be obsessed or chase her. I think most people would agree that if you show too much interest in a woman in the early stages they think they should be doing better, you have to act like you're the one to be wanted (act, not say) and she should be getting giddy over you.

Just a warning as it could be likely if you spend months dreaming of this girl working out etc.

If you have a gym membership instead of a home gym, you could look at using some machines to keep some of your lower body strength at least.

You're not allowed to do work that won't involve the casted(assumption on my part) hand? I know people consider machines the devil in a lot of gym circles, but that's not true in the first place, and it's especially not true in the situation you will be in where much machine work can be done 1(or even no) handed.

Try to see what you can piece together, any work you can get in will help slow atrophy along with keeping the protein in your diet high. Minimize losses and whatnot.

When I broke my hand I tried working out with machines and all lower body work... The major problem? The fucking smell. I was in a plaster cast/splint that couldn't get wet for 5 weeks. Ever had a sweaty foot that you haven't washed in a month on your arm? Nobody will want to be within 10 feet of you xD

thx for the comfort and advices guys, i dont know the english name but basically my bone connected with my small finger on my left hand is broken and im currently running around with this beauty of a beast

Great workout today,

BS: 170kg x 4 (+2 reps since last time)
FS: 95kg x 5-5-5 (+2,5kg)
Pullups: BW x 3-3-3, BW+5kg x 3, BW x 3

Slowly adding more volume onto the pullups. Did 11 reps last time, today 15 with one set with additional weight.


I dont think that's a viable alternative unless your back muscles are as big as misha's

I caught a cold/bad caugh on friday and its still ongoing despite heavy vitamin D bombing (40k+ IU per day)... this totally sucks. I dont think I will be feeling well enough to attempt coan/phillipi week 9 tomorrow T_T



I actually do a couple of reps like that when I'm warming up, up until 80kg-90kg x 5. I do it without hands. Helps turn the looks on the gym of the bro's using them curlz.

it doesnt matter if girls like or dont like you on a "personal level". whether or not they are ATTRACTED to you sexually is ALL that matters.

she can really like you on a "personal level" but if you dont act attractive around her then she wont be attracted to you, ever.

it IS shallow, in the same way that a man wont be attracted to a woman if she is ugly. so dont worry about that. sexual attraction is about the most "shallow" thing there is, for both genders.

but the redeeming thing about that is that you can know absolutely for sure that if you get buff and confident and start to love yourself and learn how to be attractive, then you WILL be! it might be shallow, but you can trust in it, as much as you can trust that hunger is satiated by food!

Today I think I have figured a way around my gym issue, where there is a small elite lifting gym open to a very small amount of people from the top teams, and none of them use it.

I'm going to start a weight lifting club at my uni. Or at least try. Then I can't see them refusing us access to the gym.

Just continue doing what you're doing and then ask some other chik out later. Not as a spiteful thing, but ask out or talk to as many fucking chiks as you come into contact with. Judge their reactions against your "new bod" and you'll realize how much confidence you have gained. Everything will fall into place if you stick with it.

Anyone have lower back pain from back squats? I've been getting a sore lower back, no sharp pain, but a dull pain. I'm a little worried it's a herniated disk, anyone else have this problem?

I get the same feeling from back squats and deadlifts. I then look into the mirror and see my lower back bursting with thick muscle, then pain goes away after a bit. I push myself harder the next time on the back squats and deadlift so that I may be blessed with the feeling of a sore lower back.

If my lower back induces sharp pains, then I stop doing my beastly lifts otherwise injury will be incoming. Be careful, it's not worth an extra rep at the expense of being out for months, use common sense.

I wanna put on some muscle since i'm a pretty short and scrawny guy and I never took the time to work out and fill out to. I do, but its kinda just between/after squatting. I'm sure its just too much squatting (smolov) and it will dissapear on a week or so. You experience may differ.
