My favorite way to eat tuna is the kind canned in olive oil, put a whole can on top of a single slice of bread, put some mayo and musterd on that shit, slap some cucumber and ruccola and maybe some onions on there, lots of black pepper, put a salted three egg omelet with the yolk still soft on there, and stuff my face. That shit is very far from dry. 55 grams of protein with 27 grams of delicious fat, prepared in 3 mins, perfect food imo.

Just got two boxes of Quest bars. I tried them out in the past when they only had two flavours just because of the incredible nutrition/ingredient profile (22 grams of carbs, 18 of which are fiber), but the taste/texture just made it too hard for me to actually eat them. This time I got chocolate brownie and cinnamon roll. So far, the chocolate brownie has been great; haven't tried cinnamon roll yet. Also got a free sample of their new peanut butter cups which were very good as well.

Now I just wish the shipping to Canada wasn't so expensive. :-/

Hopefully not out of line asking this her but any good suggestions of what to eat for breakfast\outside of dinner\my main meal? Looking to get into working out\eating healthy again, have been sort of going at it for a little while but been a bit half assed about what i eat, currently for dinner i primarily eat 125g preboiledrice and like 400g chicken filet for dinner which i guess should be close enough to fill up my daily protein needs (about 75 kg, doing stronglift) , used to eat bread for breakfast but looking for something else. 3 criteria is cheap ,easy to make, and something I like (no tuna please =p)

Eggs? You can do them a variety of ways to keep things interesting.

Nobody here knows what kind of food you like. There isn't very much wrong with eating some bread either. You could eat oats or cereal instead for breakfast, maybe with some fruit and yoghurt. Cottage cheese is a great source of protein, avocado is a great source of fat. Eggs gets you a good bit of both. Fish and meat are always great. Green vegetables like brocoli and green beans get you a shitload of pretty much all micronutrients. I've always found whey and casein powder to be be very helpful because its very cheap and quick. But you can pretty much eat anything you like, aslong as it fits your macros and calorie needs.

In order to determine whether or not you are eating properly you should probably take the time to count calories and calculate macros. Just check your diet for a couple of days/weeks, untill you get an idea of what a typical day looks like for you. 400g of chicken gets you 70g of protein, a good daily intake for a lifter of your size is twice that.

Is isolate protein an unnecessary expense?
Isolate vs Regular whey
From all that I've read, the general consensus is that they aren't going to affect your health and it only boils down to how much and how hard you exercise. If this is true, is isolate protein either just a luxury or some good marketing in fooling the general public?

(If there were 2kg whey protein and 2kg isolate protein and the price difference between these two were $10. Would the Isolate be worth the extra money?)

The cheap route is to just drink whole milk and you get about the same results of supplementation.

No real need to do isolate unless you're allergic to certain milk proteins.

You can literally throw any kind of meat in, lots of different types of veggies, and spices, and some black pepper

And it turns out pretty well. I like beef to be the meat, but yeah add tons of veggies to that joint, maybe some rice/potatoes too and it's pretty good.

My fave is pulled pork. Super easy, just throw in a six pound loin with some soda and then pull it apart ten hours later and cover in bbq sauce.
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

Not sure if my slowcooker is big enough to make that much at once... But I'm definitelyscaling it down and making that. I usually get the chicken at chipotle, but at home, pork is just so much easier to do. You can pretty much do whatever you want with pork and it'll come out tasty, chicken gets dry too easily =(.

As far as favorite things to make in a slowcooker, hands down it's chilli. I think every family ever has their own recipe for this stuff, and it's always delicious. Plus there's nothing I want to eat more when I come home from class on a cold day.
