No. Just compare some foods.
watermelon 30 kcal for 100g, less than 1 g of fat cabbage 13 kcal for 100g, less than 1 g of fat tomato 18 kcal for 100g, less than 1 g of fat potato 77 kcal for 100g, less than 1 g of fat kiwifruit 61 kcal for 100g, less than 1 g of fat
Find me some foods that are less than 1g of fat that score high on calories per 100g. Only way to do it is to take dates and dry them. And then people who eat only dates and bananas are still extremely lean.
There's no natural foods that are high in protein and have no or little fat. Closest is beans. Beans are good. High fiber, plenty of water, quite filling and low fat.

All the foods you listed are not high in carbs.. ? Anyway, let's not derail a great thread with a meaningless diet-discussion.

They are 95-99% calories from carbs. Can you get higher? Protein for all is in the 1 to 2% range. Then some trace amounts of fat they do have account for a 1 kcal or two because fat is so calorie dense.
The fruit that is going to be the highest possible in calories is drying a fruit that is very high in sugar already. So dates or raisins or something. You just can't get theoretically higher.

guys can we PLEASE not taint this thread with pointless animosity? this is supposed to be a place where we celebrate what we have achieved, not fight over nutrition. there is better places to do that.
thanks

My pleasure, sir. Your handshake was strong, but your clothes seemed a little loose. Next time we meet, I'll teach you the art of eating way too much. Good luck with your knee.

There are some good success stories in here. I would love to see even more before and after pictures. I always find it fascinating how there are two sides to the "ideal body." Some people are trying to gain weight and increase their size. I realize this is in terms of muscle mass and not that people want to gain fat, but still. And, of course, there are others who are trying very hard to drop pounds.

Man, going to the uni gym was a great idea.
It's 50 € for a semester, three sessions a week, the trainer is an olympic weight lifter, everyone is friendly and helpful and the music is great. I die a thousand deaths every session, but day-after muscle aches are the greatest feeling ever.

Just a small success: Increased HDL by 20mg/dl over the last checkup. Now at 74mg/dl which as far as everyone tells me is an excellent score.
All other lipid panel values, blood sugar, resting heart rate are excellent as well. Only LDL could be a tad lower (115 currently) to have absolutely excellent scores.

Soon to be success story starting now: I am going to start saving money for clothes and spending only on food for my diet, its time boys. Ill report back every 2 weeks with updates on how much I saved and what types of food I got for my diet

Started lifting properly in June after living a sedentary lifestyle and I lost 7kg so far, and although my lifts are still beginner tier, I'm pretty happy with what I've managed to do :-)
Deadlifts: 120kg 1rm Squats: 100kg 1rm Bench: 60kg 1rm
My bench is really weak, and sometimes I struggle to do 5x5 with 40kg for bench. Any advice?
Also, I ran for 20minutes straight for the first time yesterday.

Keep on trucking Ehzera! Not an expert at lifts so probably can't help beyond focus on form and keep working it'll surely improve.
Will just say how fucking good it feels to be regularly exercising again (1-2 hrs 5 x week, got my routine down) and eating better. I am so amazingly stoked to hit the ski season probably being the fittest I have ever been. Am loving life at the moment, generally feel so pumped all the time.
Keeping proper logs as well now which is super good.
Weight is sitting at 143lb / 5'5. Seems to be a decent level, and have noticed it starting to lean up some (or maybe being tricked by gym ego mirrors).
Feel like this every day. working 45-70hr weeks. Still training. Is nice.
