I prefer bowling over everything else (mid-fast) and I'm pretty good at it from what I've heard. =) Stopped following pro cricket after I moved to Canada from Pakistan 8 years ago. Also, because I got pissed off at teams throwing matches. Hopefully this thread stays active and I can get back into it. Is match fixing really as bad as the media say it is in Pakistan? Probably. Laxman is good luck charm against australia lol

I'm glad there's test matches I still enjoy. At the moment, NZ gets to play Zimbabwe. This is after the 12345678 series we usually play against Bangladesh every year. Hopefully we can beat S.A. though. Looking forward to that series.

And then theres the bowlers. I am pretty sure that they have the worst bowling attack out of all the test playing nations (at least Bangladesh have shakib).

.At least we've looked capable of bowling a side out, even one playing as ineptly as this Indian side. Still need to get our batting sorted out, but BRING ON THE ASHES .

Still need to get our batting sorted out, but BRING ON THE ASHES .Aus is playing very well, especially Warner. But that is on a very hard true wicket in perth vs a very poor bowling attack. Put him on a green top in northern england vs anderson with the ball swinging both ways on a 5-10 degree celcius day, I think he will have lots of problems. To be honest, the only batsmen who can bat in England in previous years is is the English batsmen (because everyone else freezes to death as soon as they get off the plane).

Sachin Tendulkar will bring an end to his glittering 24-year international career after he plays his 200th Test, which is scheduled to be during the home series against West Indies in November. Tendulkar announced his decision on Wednesday afternoon, via a BCCI statement, like he had done when he retired from ODIs in December 2012. Source: http://www.espncricinfo.com/india/content/current/story/678469.html I knew it was going to happen eventually but, hes been playing the game longer than I've been alive...its just sad
