didnt get close to any of my goals... but now i am more knowledgeable about training, my body, and diet. hopefully i can smash my goals in a couple months! nationals are 2 months away.

Hmm the fact that he needs like 1 minute before he starts is already a no go for me :D

also I wouldnt like a chain with a plate between my legs which ( because of werid swings) could hit my balls :D

I'll leave the effectiveness of this exercise to the pros though because IM a noobie, but he doesnt even hit parallel?

I set two main goals for this year a few months ago. The first was deadlift 160kg and the second was to recover my shoulder injury which has been dragging on since the summer so I could start bench press and press again. I took December off so I only got to 150x2 on deadlift, but the rest combined with mobility stuff and foam rolling did wonders for my shoulder and I was able to do a normal light workout again this week. My plan is now to slowly work up in weights until I'm back at my old BP and press and then start 5/3/1. I'll post more specific goals when I get started with that .

hit 150 clean and missed the jerk by a fucking inch.
pulled it like 10 more times and cleaned it 2 of those. Missed the jerk by hitting myself in the jaw and then last one i could barely stand T_T
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

The more motivation the better man, definitely keep your lifts updated, I like to see people in that weight-class. Some people just aren't after those insane 500lb+ squats with 30" quads!

Yesterday was a really wonky session. I HAD to skip monday KJDLKFJSDFKL because every fucking gym was closed in south of france and I can't drive. So yesterday, after having an awful night's sleep and ten hours of travelling time and eating six eggs all day because sandwiches were 13 euro's at the airport, I figured I'd set a PR on squats.

Jesus talked to me all the way through. It was the most ball busting set of squats I've ever done. I bit off a chunk of my lip AND shat myself in the same set. Still got the 105KG PR, AtG every rep. Powercleans felt REALLY good though. Just gonna eat a crapton today, will take it really easy with newyears. I don't want anything to fuck with my training for the next four months.

Let's be honest here, if you're not clawing at your natural limit, you're still too small. Some people are still too small even when the natural limit is nearly reached.


I never made a goal post, but goal in my mind was 85kg by end of january, i'm at 83.5 now so it will be done. Just one more month!
