I only remember a few reasons why he claimed strength training was bad but some of them was increased testosterone production, oxidative stress and.... "lots of food". And now when I'm visiting a swedish forum about strength training everyone seems to think all of this is true. Please, help me debunk this? ![]() | ||

For a serious answer ... :p Bent over barbell rows/pendlay rows are acceptable. Also, you can just do the Wichita Falls program if you want to incorporate a lot of pull ups into SS. But I think a completely viable option is to just gain the flexibility to do cleans... it only takes like a week for people with very stiff shoulders to stretch enough to be able to put the barbell in the rack position. I think Pendlay's site has some good stretches for this. I'd give you the info but I'm on my way out the door. | ||
