I think I am pretty lucky because I can work out at my school before the work day officially begins. I usually arrive around 6:40 when the custodian opens the gates. Then I go to my office, mix up my BCAA, grab my shoes and the key, and away I go. Here is the outside of the building. A while ago I guess the PE department got some money and plunked this beautiful shack down in behind the garbage, recycling, and first-year student bike racks. It is probably ten years old or so. ![]() The best part is that I have it completely to myself in the mornings. Other than the odd sports club member practicing outside, no one even looks it. It allows me to lift my girly weight without being self-conscious :p ![]() It is basic but it has the fundamentals. It will be pretty cold in the winter though, so I will have to dress for it. Anyway, that is it. It would be nice to have this setup at home that's for sure.

Monday is my heavy day -> practice on tuesday sucks. wednesday medium and its not too bad. Friday is a light day, 60-70% of max. Then again i'm doing oly training instead of an SS variant. Your current schedule isn't too bad, i dont really mind lifting then practice(as a back). Oh and i might be on ESPN this saturday. we're playing ohio state in rugby on friday and they're bussing in a bunch of poor kids or some feel good publicity shit and doing a news bit on our game that they'll play during the mich state vs ohio state football game on saturday because one of the OSU football players is also (used to be?) an all-american rugby player. Hey I'm actually writing up a oly program for a women's rugby player. I'm starting her light, but I was thinking I would keep the volume lighter since I don't want to wear her out. I was thinking I could keep the intensity a bit higher so she can still make progress. idk if you're actually coaching her or just writing her a plan but it will probably vary a lot. Gotta account for getting banged up during games/practices and having enough recovery to be at 100% every saturday while still trying to make gains. Sick deadlift video, doing reps w/ over 4x bw?? T_T It's just programming, I wont be around to coach her. She's a beginner so I want to regulate the amount of lifts.

Doing it Thursday night with a game on saturday morning? DON'T CARE. I'm currently addicted to this lower back pump, just like I was addicted to the sore hamstrings from deadlifting over the summer. Also did 100 lb 5-5-4 OHP, and before the work sets I did a 1rm of 50kg (115 lb). Then chinups 8-6-5 (which isn't a PR, but is pretty close for being in a hurry to get finished) @ BW. Really felt a tug in my forearms doing these. Some days I wonder what's holding me back from increasing my chinup reps, and then I remember I'm still (slowly) gaining weight, so consistency is actually progress.

Don't let the 3 digits psych you out. Find a way to pump yourself up and destroy it. I've "done" 100kg before I hurt my knees last spring, but while I considered it a PR at the time (I never went any higher) looking back I don't think I made it all the way to parallel on each rep, and I failed the last rep of the last set. So this is the first time I've done it "for real" and when I increase the weight again next time, it will be something that I've never even attempted before.

How much do you weigh and how long have you been (properly) training for? I'm somewhere between 6'3 and 6'5, (193ish cm) 178 lbs (82kg). I started lifting here and there (bro bench routine with zero progress) spring of 2010. I began lifting seriously Fall of 2010, took a month off in january because lolwinterbreak, and then took two months off (april-may) after I did SOMETHING to blow out my knees (I chalk it up to letting my knees come "in" on squats.) I started back around the end of may squatting only the bar and deadlifting 135, I now deadlift ~285lbs 1x5 and have just set this PR in squats.

My lifts are a step lower than yours but I'll post my progress end of next week. @Dimsum: that's pretty cool. Then we can know who all the really strong guys are. The most I've DLed is only 295 lb (134kg) so it will give me good motivation to get to the 150kg list and challenge the guys on the 200kg list :D

Kiiinda, there's a lot of competition and shittalk going on here already (which is good). There are more bragging rights for posting your challenges here. There are a lot of lurkers though, might draw those in. I'm just a bit wary of overly dividing the original thread.
