140lbs seems really light (even at 5'4), especially if you are lifting weights. I think as long as you continue doing as you're doing you'll figure that out though.
As for extra calories, nuts contain a lot of calories from fats. Also, keeping fruits in moderation is only if you want to cut down on carbs. I assume you are trying to eat paleo, and therefore adding/subtracting high calorie fruit is a main method of controlling carb consumption. As stated in the OP of the paleo thread, it is neither high or low carb, it just depends on how much fruit you have.
Great job on the progress, keep it up! :D 140 is light for 5'4"? i am 150 at 5'7" and i'm plenty fat. I'm close to 215 at 6'0". It's all about body composition and that will improve over time. I ripped a pair of pants when I was walking up the stair carrying some shit to my new apartment >_>

I think I'm getting close to ripping some pants. Riding my bike in jeans is becoming increasingly uncomfortable.

I can't wear one of my favorite suits anymore. Two others are getting critically tight as well.
Squatting is expensive :-(

You're in Japan, right? Pick up a pair of Japanese denim jeans--I wear Iron Hearts. They're expensive, but I don't even think Lu Xiaojun's legs could burst through a pair of these.

I've teared up:
2 Jeans 1 shirt. 1 shirt I used to extremely like, now it makes me look like a fucking girl cause it's too damn fucking tight.
lifting is a notice to yourself that you need to change your whole clothing

It's really funny reading everyone's story of what clothes they've ripped, loved the "squatting is expensive" line from Zatic, pure gold!

oh yes! I forgot to update
yesterday I went to the gym and "went for a light session" ;D:
Front Squat 2x5 80kg 1x5 90kg Bench press 3x5 90kg (PR) PowerClean 1x3 50kg, 1x3 55kg, 2x3 60kg, 1x3 70kg.
EXPLOSION OF AWESOME. :D I missed doing powerCleans. Gotta start doing them more often.

Talked to some dude that plays Rugby at my uni, apparently its pretty vibrant around here. Actually decently pumped to give it a proper shot. If I want to do sports for dem aesthetics, how good/bad is rugby in combination with lifting? Is lifting better? Rugby seems surprisingly fun now that I'm bigger though.
Actually screw that, decaf/phyre/whoever, convince to do rugby instead of just lifting :D

Decaf plays rugby and lifts like a boss all the time. I am just picking it up in addition to lifting and it kills me. I think I've been overdoing things, and making myself sick.

Well rugby is about as good as every other high intensity sport, i personally wouldn't do it since the chance of injury is quite high. And my body just can't seem to handle high impact sports, always get injured. If you just care about aesthetics just lift and eat right. Bruises and shit aren't aesthetic. Just my personal opinion though. If you wanna do it for fun, go ahead!
So tomorrow is deadlift day, 130x5 was last time, wasn't too easy but im sure i can do more. So far i always increased 5kg, but then again i never failed a rep. Should i start increasing only 2,5kg or stick to 5kg till i fail?

weee workout for today
Squats = 65kg Bench Press = 65kg ( this was a lot harder then I actually thought it would be lol) Barbell Rows = 43kg
Also did a lil light paleo shopping. Got some meat and lots of veggies. Hopefully is cooking is easier then I think it is b/c before I started here I pretty much could only cook pancakes/bacon and eggs lol.Ill have to try pretty hard since I did spend money on this stuff.

god dayum the last couple week (3 week to be exact) i have not gained any progress on my squat at all. I think i plateaued on my squat (185lbs). I'm 5'10 and weigh 135lbs, is it possible that I reached the max weight gain for my height/weight? How about reseting?
Note: I am still seeing gains on my other lifts. Deadlift: 225lbs Bench: 140 lbs Squat Cleans/Power Cleans: 135lbs
