So yes. Squat 220 today, had an hour break for class (just long enough to get sore/stiff) then headed out to practice, where we did a half hour of conditioning (pushups/situps/burpees/planks while a partner runs, then you run while your partner does them...125 of each, planks for time obviously.) which culminated in a sprint while carrying your partner on your own back. Of course before realizing this, I just HAD to go and pick out one of the bigger guys on the team - His name is Army, and he is the D1 prop. So my already exhausted and cramping legs sprinted with a man who is almost 1.5x my size, riding on my back. Must have looked like quite the comedy. Finished practice and ate what I estimate to be not enough calories. One quart of milk, ~13 ounces of grilled chicken, two cups of spinach with mushrooms, chick peas, and a creamy salad dressing, half a cup of sweet potato fries, and a whole grapefruit. Should have had more milk, but I was actually having trouble making the food go down my throat by that point. I don't know how the hell I'm going to gain weight only eating two meals and a snack every day =/. Oh well, we take a break from thanksgiving - christmas, so there's a month and a half to put on some size. @Decaf, when's that Rugby thread coming around?

The idea being: if you're looking to get convinced to start going to the gym, just to get pumped up for a workout, or look at some inspirational/thoughtful stuff, you'd go and check it out. Would be akin to the SFW Pics thread, everyone would just post motivational pics videos etc. I'm thinking stuff like (some of my favourites): + Show Spoiler + ![]() etc comments? I was thinking the same thing. Not only does motivation help your physical goals, I'm sure it's also good for mental health as well, which is something that often gets ignored.

There are just some days that I want to nap instead of going in and lifting, and having something like that to read over would be fantastic. As well, when you're on that high you get from lifting heavy, maybe waiting for a ride with that BALLIN back pump, or say you're decaf and you just finished jello wrestling a pair of girls, you need to have a dedicated post to leave a quick message.

Lifting heavy things -> girls fighting for you. It's fact. (p.s. i have now slept with both those girls :D )

Quite nice to have that feel for weights: give me 3 reds and a yellow = 200kg lol. I think I'll "cut" some after the meet I may or may not compete in at the end of november. Being "bloated" for 1.5 years is getting tiresome.

O_O Such a strong guy shouldn't be lifting with such a gay music. Anyways Yesterday was a great day Morning Workout: BP: 88x2x3, 93x2x3, 98kg x2x3, 106kg x1 (PR) In 3 weeks I am doing reps with more than my old PR record (92kg), and gains are very big considered my bodyweight (75kg). Powerlifting style bench press is just a lot a easier (and fun) I think. Also inmediatately after girl hits on me on class because she smelled how strong my bench press is. Evening Workout: Deadlift 125kg x5x5 I'm really feeling great and weekend of national holidays didn't seem to affect me at all. The effect of huge amounts of alcohol was completely countered by extreme paleo diet. Ate twice a day 1.5kg of meat with some salad; nothing else. Proof below: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Just ordered my first barbell, been using some gear my brother borrowed from a friend's mom, who owns a gym. Bought a somewhat expensive one hoping it will last me a while. Barbell+140kg weights cost me 5000SEK, which is about 725$, so not really cheap I guess rofl. I would need more weights but I hope I'll be able to keep the 130kg I borrowed a bit longer ![]() Probably easier to find a used bench/rack, atleast I hope so, else it'll be another 725$ or so. ^_^ I'm fine with that though, I much prefer working out at home with my brother so I don't have to deal with gymidiots, queues to equipment and can scream how much I want.
