I'm 5'10 and weigh 135lbs, is it possible that I reached the max weight gain for my height/weight? How about reseting? Note: I am still seeing gains on my other lifts. Deadlift: 225lbs Bench: 140 lbs Squat Cleans/Power Cleans: 135lbs I think you just need to eat a whole lot more.

If I want to do sports for dem aesthetics, how good/bad is rugby in combination with lifting? Is lifting better? Rugby seems surprisingly fun now that I'm bigger though. Actually screw that, decaf/phyre/whoever, convince to do rugby instead of just lifting :D Its good conditioning, great interval work. Lifting and diet is much better for aesthetics, but then again bitches love badasses. I find time to frequently do both so :D And yes its more fun when you're bigger. I can't wait to fucking delete whoever is in front of me from the face of this world tomorrow. I'm talking broken ribs and crushed dreams. apfoweijfapoweifj. Gonna go max out my clean and jerk today first though.

Seeing my doctor on Wednesday. Eschlow/anybody else have something to say about this? Is fainting/almost fainting a common thing in the weight room? Should I worry?

Did 2 quick, but hard workouts today: 3 rounds of: Tireflips (~20 m.) Drag tractor tire back (~20 m.) Farmer walk 2x48 kg kettlebells (~40 m.) 25 double unders Short, but intense!! Dragging stuff kills legs I found out. After 10 min. break: 30 ground to overhead anyhow 60 kg. (did PC&push press) 2:39, 10 sec. faster than last time I did it :-)

I use the Valsalva maneouver, and have had high pressure in my head since birth, which led to migraines although I haven't had one in like 6 months *taps on wood*. Seeing my doctor on Wednesday. Eschlow/anybody else have something to say about this? Is fainting/almost fainting a common thing in the weight room? Should I worry? Diet? Sleep? Training schedule? Last time you took a training break? The first thing you look for when someone is super fatigued all of the time is overtraining/underrecovery generally... then branch out from there.

Bench press 40kg 5x3 (up from 35 last work out and 37.5 work out before that) Squat up to 60kg 5x3 (up from 50 kg last 2 work outs and 55 work out before that.) Deadlift 5x1 45 kg iirc (up from 40kg) So a few things.Been struggling a bit with squats sort of, On the squat today I did not go 'nearly' deep enough. was slightly above parallel i i guess. so next time i will just stick to 60kg and try to go deeper. Bench press went alright, but I am sort of shaky in my arms already at 20kg/no extra weight, is that common? Also on my benchpress i think I am not sure if this is an issue, but i feel like I might be letting my wrists .."flare"(?) too much backwords. It doesnt hurt\feel bad at all, but it just feels like this might matter when weights get heavier? As for dead lift, I do my best to keep my back arched, but its like, when the weight is below the knees, it feels like its impossible to have it between below knees and ground without like bending the back\rounding it a little bit? Think I am still doing this too much though.

They're expensive, but I don't even think Lu Xiaojun's legs could burst through a pair of these. thanks for the recommendation, are they comfy? i'll check them out when I find myself in a department store ripped jeans are no fun =.= edit: Where did you buy yours? Do department stores carry them? The shop in Tokyo is really far away from city centre.

I really do wish I could post videos mainly for critique and form checks but my gym is pretty anal about recording equipment whether it be pictures or videos and it doesn't help that it's always crowded as hell so I can't really shoot just myself without having others in the shot. Can't risk getting myself in trouble at the one place I can train for free =\

You read Japanese right? Here is my pair: http://www.ironheart.jp/products/634S.html They're 25,000 yen, but that's not bad considering they cost like $450 in the States. Also, I have a question about my shoulder... this is probably a good @eshlow situation. I simply cannot jerk from the front. I can jerk from the back no problem at all, with all of the speed and quickness required, but from the front my shoulder hurts like crazy when I make any sudden overhead pressing movement. Any idea why this may be?

I'm concerned about sizing as they are all different... I'd be nice to be able to try them on beforehand.

I unfortunately had to send my first pair back and get a size up, actually. The waist was fine but my quads were too big for the size 34s, so I just got 36s.

I am on paleo diet and my goal was to lose weight but I haven't probably lost a kg, maybe even gained a little. Squat has improved from 50 to 60 kg ( 5x5 ), everything else too by small ammount but that was never my goal. I think it's time to do cardio but my knee starts aching when I run and I don't have bicycle here. Would like to know what people think about jumping rope. It's something that I can do for extended periods ( have jumped 2000 jumps in 30 minutes before without pauses ) but I don't know if I should try it when running already causes pains. How much do you weigh, how tall are you, and how much do you eat? =p As has been mentioned many times before, losing weight is 80~85% diet. As a sidenote ive gone up to 74~kg from 70.5~71, so go me I guess.
