If you're struggling to gain weight heres a great home made gainer shake you can make. It really helps me get those calories in. You will need a blender for this ofcourse (if you don't have on buy one already ffs!!!:p)

1/2 litres / 2 cups milk
1 cup oats
3 tablespoons peanut butter
A scoop of whey
some olive oil
You can add a banana too if you like

1000 cals ezpz and also tastes great :D

The only time I wear a belt is when I'm going for a heavy max of 5 or less and for the last warm-up set leading up to my max. 90% of the time I don't wear a belt for squats nor deadlifts. Rule of thumb: If it feels really heavy, wear a belt. If you are self aware enough to know that you back/abs are stong enough not to need a belt, don't wear a belt. It really comes down to preference. Beginners need not wear a belt for the greater part of their training.

I belt up when i'm maxing out because it keeps my shit together if i lose my form when in case i'm attempting a weight outside my means. Basically i feel you only need one if you're worried about your losing your form (which can lead to injury) which means you're probably working with too much weight and using the belt as a crutch. dimsum recently started using one for his oly lifts and he's a beast so i'm sure he has a good reason :D

@Funkie: I'd definetly say continue bulking but keeping a good check on bodyfat% (use the almighty mirror for judging). You might want to add in some easy cardio if you are not doing it already.

@KizZBG: I've been doing plenty of these this winter. Only thing I add is 2-300 of skyr (Icelandic dairy product, 13,3g protein per 100g and almost no carb and fat). Love it.

EDIT:

@Decaf: It was my first time using ammonia. I love it. It is like breathing fire into your lungs. I'm at 90-91kg. Depends on the days

@reign, I started using a belt because I have trouble keeping tight when I front squat and when I jerk. I will probably use it for back squat and clean and jerk too. I also need to work on my core a lot more. The belt is def a good way for me to lift better. My coach recommended me to use it so I tried.

Im not sure what level you are at, but if you dont have to use it, dont.

Yep, that is exactly why I only bought it once or twice when I spent the summer there. But Iceland isn't so great, meat is soooo expensive!

Yes still on SS since it's still working for me. Goals? Just to be healthy, fucking strong and be huge and ripped :o!

My goal was 75kg but I'm guessing I shall top that and move it up to 80-85 :0?

I'd go for something huge. Start out with 80-85 and see how you are then. Maybe you'll need to back off and reduce some bf but just keep on going. Goals need to be reevaluated regularly. With yesterday's deadlift I'm only 10kg off from my goal of the year...Bumping it up to 220 at least

First workout with our as-of-yet unofficial olympic/powerlifting club. Just worked on form, and snatched for the first time. That shit is hard. Fun though, and really empowering.

Then we did a little bench press for the beachbro inside of us.
