What's wrong with extra fat? Whole milk is healthier than skim

Also, what's wrong with starting with 1/2 GOMAD if you dislike GOMAD?

i'm too lazy to find these links at the moment, but tastes alone, whole milk is far superior

Was a really nice workout today and did not expect to get all reps in, especially on squats. I am kind of amazed how far SS gets me, since my PR from last may is 172kgx5. That's really not too far away anymore after only two months of SS. But to be fair, the volume on Squats during SS is pretty brutal, 9heavy sets of 5 each week. You do less volume with lots of intermediate programs. And my legs have totally adapted to the workload, I am never sore.

@Funkie: At your bodyweight, your numbers on the Press are very impressive.

@Eshlow: It's just the added calories that comes with the fat is all that I'm really concerned about. I know I didn't burn through 4000-5000 calories a day and why I put on so much extra weight :\ The only person I can really see it working for are people doing other high intensity stuff with lifting (ex decaf)

I started off with 1/4th? GOMAD. I had a half gallon every other day (The days I lifted) and the gains were perfect. Then I switched to full GOMAD and my weight shot up with fat haha. I'm just sayin' I wouldn't recommend a full on gallon of whole milk a day to the newbs who come in here, ya know what I mean?

@Necrosarius. Pretty sweet, I might bother you to make a personal one :D lol

lol I didn't mean really mean to say skim>whole milk at all, even though it came across that way. When I was on that there bulk, I used either 2% or whole milk. I just meant the gallon per day thing was a little out of wack in my opinion, that's all.

id recommend 1/2 gomad too, since its so freakin hard to chug 4 milks AND eat properly
personally i am on skimmed since its much cheaper here atm (no clue why), and i like how its more watery, easier to drink
as for those milk stats you posted....go by the actual stats of the milk you personally buy, coz those seem off to me

Ahhh, yes, I also threw in a a nice jab at vegetarians and vegans in the fat head thread too which was so nice of me.

3. Saturated fats (and by extension cholesterol) are not the cause of heart disease (and the above disorders. Nor are meats.

Vegetarians/vegans for health reasons are misguided.
