UPDATE: 5/10/12 - Playhem are excited to announce that in addition to the first 8 bids initially given through our Playhem Daily Tournaments, all North American Playhem Daily's starting on Tuesday, May, 15th until May, 20th will act as last chance qualifiers for players still looking to compete at the US National Finals for Blizzard's World Championship Series. Playhem & PlayhemTV Announce Special “Playhem Daily” Tournaments; Winners head to Blizzard US National Tournament in May -

The upcoming Playhem Daily tournaments starting on April 21st and ending on April 28th will act as qualifier tournaments for Blizzard’s upcoming National Tournament for the United States (which leads into the Global Championships that are being held instead of Blizzcon this year). The Playhem Dailies on the previously mentioned dates are completely FREE to enter and will be held at the normal North American Playhem Daily time slot. Players must be US citizens and over the age of 13 to be eligible to compete.

When asked about the recent development of the Playhem Daily tournaments acting as a qualifying tournament for Blizzard’s new eSports championship event, Playhem's Director of eSports Travis Hezel had to say,

“The chance to host official qualifiers for Blizzard’s eSports Championship is a thrilling opportunity for the Playhem brand. We’re happy to provide 8 spots to US National Final through our Playhem Daily tournaments starting this Saturday. On behalf of everyone who has made the Playhem brand what it is today, we’d like to extend our gratitude to Blizzard for recognizing our hard work up until this point.”
